It took days for the poison to leave Cosmo's system. He had gotten more ill before he had gotten better, and Catnap was afraid he was going to have to turn Cosmo. Thankfully that didn't need to happen, because about a week after the incident he had jumped right out of bed, gave both catnap and Dogday a kiss, and went into the kitchen to make breakfast. His energy was off the charts: the two males cast a glance towards one another than shrugged their shoulders.

They followed the smaller male, and their eyes widen slightly. He is bouncing around the kitchen, making eggs, bacon, and toast. Not once breaking a sweat. He must've smuggled this stuff in here, because the scientists don't give the mascots anything like this. "Cosmo honey what are you doing? We don't need all this food..." Dogday tries to get Cosmo's attention to no avail. Catnap wraps his tail around the small male's waist, causing him to look up, with a tilt of his head. "Sweetheart, we do not need this much food." Catnap's tone comes out sharper than intended and Cosmo flinches slightly, giving a small smile, "of course we do! My strong men need to eat..." his stomach grumbles "so do I it seems" he giggled.

"Anyways, please let me finish this guys, I promise I won't make anymore... just enough for the three of us" Cosmo gave them the puppy dog eyes. Catnap faltered and gave a small smile in return, nodding yes. Cosmo squealed in delight and continued to make breakfast. The boys didn't want to mention that they technically didn't need to eat, as they were secretly vampires but knew they had to because Cosmo had made all this food for the three of them.

"Done!" Cosmo shouted! He turns around putting the plates on the table. He beams up at Catnap and Dogday who smile slightly in return. "Come on loves let's eat!" Cosmo grins sitting down. The two sit down across from their partner. "So Catnap, Dogday, what have you two been up to ? I know I've been sick and something's are still fuzzy" Cosmo whispers. The two glance at each other for the millionth time that morning. "Well, I've been still making sure the children are asleep, and trying to avoid those pesky scientists. They keep coming down here, and it's been more frequent. It's worrisome." Catnap rubs his temples with his clawed digits.

Dogday speaks up "I've just been helping watch over you, and then playing with the children. They miss you dearly and keep asking about you, and I just have to keep telling them you'll play with them soon! That usually brightens their spirits, and they run along and play with the other smiling critters." He smiles off into space, a small smile playing on my lips in return. "I miss my kids to." What I said caused both males to freeze and look at me. "You mean the orphans right....." Catnap says trailing off. I furrowed my brow looking at him. "What do you mean? I mean My children. The ones I am practically raising..." His eyes snap to mine and he looks displeased. "Cosmo... you know the rules.... You are not supposed to get attached-." Cosmo cuts him off...

"I'm aware love but still.. i am practically raising Those children so those horrible scientists get to come in here and do horrible things to them. Do you know how that feels" Cosmo gets Alittle louder, his voice raising a couple of pitches. Catnap can only take so much before his temper gets the best of him. Slamming his hands down onto the table he yells "Cosmo thats enough, you can't get attached to the orphans and that's final" the last part coming out in a growl. Cosmo scoffs defiance shining in his eyes. "Catnap you are not the boss of me, and as my boyfriend I thought you'd be way more chill about this thing but I guess not." Cosmos hisses. Catnap growls loudly.

"I don't want to hurt you Love so please just drop the subject" Catnap whispers. "I would not let you hurt me" Cosmo fires back. Dogday looks between the two torn on whether to play mediator or not. "If I wanted to hurt you I would've done so already and there would be nothing you could do about it" Catnap wraps his tail around Cosmo's neck and gives it a tight squeeze. "Be a good little Bunny and stop arguing, yeah?" Catnap squeezes his tail tighter around Cosmo's neck making it harder for him to breathe. Dogday having seen enough stands up and puts a paw onto Catnap's shoulder giving it a rough squeeze. "You're hurting our boyfriend, honey" His voice is thick and ragged. Catnap lets Dogday's words sink in that he was strangling Cosmo.... He quickly removes his tail and takes a couple of steps back.
