Lucy's pov.
It was early in the morning, and i had just woken up, to get ready for school. I go down stairs once I'm done, say hello to my father, eat, then head for the bus. Sometimes i even meet up with my best friend Natsu, and to be honest, i have a crush on him, and i have for the longest time now. i just can't say anything because what if he did not like me back? That would be so embarrassing, and our friend ship would be ruined! I could not risk that happening! So anyways, i was off to the bus and, speaking of the devil, Natsu comes behind me and scares me. Because of that i punched his arm really hard.
"Ow, what was that for Luce!" he wined.
"For you scaring me! So never do that again!" i pouted as i started walking again.
"Aye sir!" Natsu said as he caught up to me and walked by my side.
We had finally reached the school doors and when we entered girls saw Natsu and raced over to him, pushing me out of the way. Oh did i forget to mention, Natsu is very popular because he plays for the soccor team at out school. So as the girls came, they pushed me away further from him, then i was out out of the horde surrounding Natsu. I sighed and began walking to my locker, then someone stopped me grabbing my hand. It was Natsu.
"Where you going? Aren't you going to help me?" Natsu said in plead. half of his body was sticking out of the crowd.
"Alright come on," i said as i grabbed Natsu's arm, pulling out of the crowd of girls. Eventually i pulled him out, but once i did, we got sent flying down the stair case and we were falling, i was about to hit my head. Then i felt Natsu pull me closer to him and hugged me close. I opened my eyes, expecting for my head to hurt a lot, but then i realized i was in Natsu's arms sitting on the floor, and Natsu's face in my hair. He took the hit. He protected me.
"Ow..." Natsu said softly. And that sent chills down my spine, because once again, his face was near my neck.
"You okay Natsu?" i said as i tried to get out of his grasp(his arm was on her stomach, and his hand on her head, and legs by her side)but i could not get out, Natsu kept pulling me closer. This caused me to blush.
"Not yet..." i herd him speak as he buried his face deeper in my hair.
"N-Natsu." was all i was able to say. I did not want this moment to end, with Natsu hugging me, pulling me closer every minute.
Then, he finally loosened his grasp and rested his chin on my shoulder.
"That was painful." He said while giving a little chuckle.
"Is there any way i can help you?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said while shifting his face towards mine. We were so close to each others faces.
then he finally said.
"A kiss would make this a lot better."
a... a k-kiss?
"Natsu, I think you hit your head pretty hard, let me go get you some ice, that might help" i felt my face heat up.
"Luce, ice won't help me. Just please?" He wined.
"Natsu, i-" i was cut off by him kissing my cheek, then him getting up and carrying me.
"N-Natsu let me down!" i pleaded.
"Not until you give me a kiss! A proper one too! Right on the lips!" He said with his toothy grin.
I knew i was going to be here a while...
