On the mist of memories that came flashing back to me, one of it appears to be the boy I've ever love. His smile flashing back to my mind. I cannot help but smile and then all of a sudden, all of it started to came back to me. Everything that has happened in the past is playing like a movie just infront of me.
It was on the middle of my summer when we met. My family and I went to the UK to spend the summer there. It was a fun summer and to spend it with the ones you love is just a total jackpot. I was unaware of anything on that country, it was actually my first time being there. We're staying in a place called Brighton. It is near on the coast so it has a pier that is really really like-able place for me. The start of my summer is just normal, we just went to places that is pretty cool and shops around there. While I was there I met a girl named Molly--a cute, bubbly and nice girl that is 2 years older than me. It was nice hanging out with her since she knows the place and everytime I have nothing planned she just give me a tour around town, she is just so lovely and I am lucky to have her as my friend.
In my two weeks of stay in there, I've already gained a lot knowledge about people in UK and how nice they are. Today is one of those days that I am doing nothing so I decided to contact Molly.
"Hey Molly" I said through the phone having her on the other line.
"Hey Marie" she responds.
"I was hoping maybe we could hang out? I have the day free" I replied hoping she has nothing to do today 'cause it'll be awful if she does and I have to stay home being so unproductive for the day.
"Yeah sure. That'll be a great idea. We could go to the pier since it is a nice weather" Great! Just the answer I like to hear.
"Yey! Great I'll meet you at the pier at 10 so we could get breakfast before we spend the whole day" I replied getting up from my desk and getting my stuff I would bring sorted out.
"Alright, see you then. Bye"
"Bye" and with that we hanged up and I started getting ready since it is already 9. I started to take a shower. After 15 minutes I got out and picked my clothes I would wear. I decided on a trouser that I rolled up and a simple striped t-shirt. I wore my flats and just bring my leather jacket with me just to be ready if it turns out to be cold in there. After dressing up I got my small backpack and put my wallet in it since I already got all the things I need on it.
I went down stairs and told my mom where I was going.. I rushed to the door and headed to the pier. It was a very busy day there and everyone seems to be pleased by the weather. I scan the place and didn't see Molly anywhere so I decided to just sit on one of the bench there and call her.
"Hello. Where are you?" I asked.
"Hey.. I'm almost there. I can see you now" I turned around and saw her waving at me as she walks to my direction. Smiling at her I end the call and put my phone down as she does the same. When she reached the bench I was sitting, I got up and we gave each other hugs.
"Sorry I am late " she said.
"It's ok." I said with a re-assuring smile.
"By the way, before we go, I want you to listen to this" she told me handing me her earphones.
"Ok?" I said while putting them in my ears. I listened to the song for good 3-4 minutes and it was a really good song.After the whole song was finished, I removed the earphones and hand it back to her.
"Who are they?" I asked.
"They are The Vamps. It's their song called Last Night" she replied. I just nod at her, not knowing what to say next. We sat there just looking at the sea and she broke the silence.
"So what do you think about them?" She asked looking like a kid asking permission to their parents with the puppy face.
Smiling at her I responded " Well I have got to admit it was pretty cool. I like tlistening to it"
"Good. Well I've been obssesing about them for so long now and I am so glad that my friend like my taste in music.. " she smiled.
"Awwww... good. But now I think we need to get some breakfast because I am really starving. You don't want your friend to starve right?" I raised my eyebrow at her.
"Yeah we should go 'cause I am pretty hungry too" we both giggled finding that conversation funny and started to get up. We walked around to look for food stalls but still ended up going around town and settling for iHop.
We ate there and she played the song of the pop band that is called The Vamps and we just listened to it the whole meal. And along with that she gave me backgrounds about that band. The name of the members and their songs. Our conversation was filled with that, even until we are back on the pier and just having a casual stroll there. After a few hours we just called it a day and headed to our homes.
As I got home, I greeted my family I came across with on my way to my bed room. I cleaned up and change immediately into a more comfortable clothes and headed down stairs to have dinner with my family. We asked each other about our day since we have no family-planned things and just run our own errands for the day. When we finished I went back to my room and just lie down on my bed staring at the ceiling. Without even realising I fell asleep.
