Yelled my father to the guards that went into every house in the village, looking for me and my baby.I know I wasn't supposed to be touched but it wasn't my fault,he came over me!My father didn't let me explain a thing and as punishment I was going to be the next sacrifice for the Kaltain mountains,it wasn't my intention to break the rules of the palace
I hold my sobs in a dark alley with the hope of no one seeing me

A guard yank me by the hair making me scream as he drag me to my father who was standing Infront of a crowd with shocked people chattering between them
"Dad, please let me explain! I d-!!"

His slap cut through the air making everyone silent, including me
"You're the worst thing that happened to me.My own daughter,broke the sacred rules of our family and now asked for forgiveness?-he laughed on the low-i will not accept it and neither that child you carry inside!"
The guards forced me to walk by the arms
I beg them to let me go but they didn't care

Devourers
They are strange dark creatures who like to rip our skin alive or love to drive us crazy with their powers.They only appear in the night,the village had a problem with them so the two species made a deal:
Every person that committed a crime as punishment will be thrown in the forest and be the next food for the Devourer's
Suddenly I hear something moving but can't identify where it comes from
A pair of steps come closer until I feel hot breath on my neck
"Hello,lunch" spoke a dark male voice from behind me
He then started circling around me taking in every detail
He was like 8 feet tall.
Black skin,sharp nails and razor teeth
His hair was short and look like it was made of shadows and white eyes(like literally his eyes are ALL white)
"What a beautiful girl,how old are u?"
"19" I stutter and he bent down to my level where I could see his spikes in his back that in the end made a tail
He came closer and closer,he smirk.
"No! Please don't!"
The Devourer was about to launch at me but stopped on time his eyes stare at my little belly,his expression change into an angry one
"What is wrong with humans this days?? Sacrificing a pregnant woman after beating her up.Why didn't someone tried to help you, shorty?"
He use his claws to cut the ropes and I quickly get up ready to run away from this thing but he grab me by the arm and pinned me against the tree.I twist and turn
"Stay still!"
"I don't wanna hurt you"
He whisper the last words shily
I stopped and he leaned in to smell my neck,he moved down slowly until he reach my baby.His hands touch my belly and I see a sparkle in his eyes
Suddenly he lift me up and we went through the forest
"Y-you aren't going to eat me?"
"No,I will take care of you and our baby from now on.You could be my queen and I'll give you everything you and the baby need...but most of all make sure no one ever hurts you again" He spoke the last one a bit darker
"Our baby?!"
"Yeah,I always wanted one or two.You will love ur new life,I swear to love and respect you,shorty"
It takes me a while to accept it

I smile and he kissed my lips

Kaelar ask as he was back from killing some intruders in the forest,he stretch and turn into his normal form that was less scarier
His been so nice to us by giving us a home and love, although he gets a little too jealous or protective when I'm in his village and  other men around flirt with me
But I don't mind at all,I love when he protects us
"Before u kiss me you gotta clean that blood off of you"
"Come on, babygirl don't be so rude" he tried to hug me
I move to the other side
All while laughing as he tried to catch me around the living room
He finally wrapped his arms around me and bury his face on my neck

"Mom is pretty grumpy today, I'ma right?"
I playfully smack his head while laughing

"Hold up!I don't wanna hurt her!"
I said to Y/n as she held up our 3 days old daughter
D/n(daughter's name) eye's stare at me
She had my beautiful Y/n eyes and brown hair
"Come on, Kaelar.She loves you!You won't hurt our baby"

What if she's scared of me or even worse...what if she doesn't love me??
Y/n softly put D/n in my arms

We sat on the grass looking at the field Infront of us when suddenly I feel like being watched
"Take D/n" i hand her back our daughter and she looks confused

Y/n scream in fear when an arrow hit the tree next to her
I quickly cover them and look at the men Infront of us
He looked like Y/n
"You know?when I tried to get rid of you and that Spawn of urs,I never thought this thing here would give you a chance...it's a monster after all is in it's blood to kill without mercy"
"His not a monster ,unlike you!You never cared about me or mom you only care about ur reputation"
So his the mother fucker who hurt them

He only chuckle before 5 other men came from the forest,all of them ready to aim at Y/n and D/n
"I'll make sure to finish my job this time"
With that the arrows were shot
Y/n quickly covered D/n and close her eyes but I push them away
When I look down at her I see D/n crying(good thing none of them were hurt)
My eyes quickly land on the men and i get up, ignoring the pain of the arrows that left some cuts on my body
Before they could do anything I slash, break and strangle them until the only one left is Y/N's father
He stumble back in fear
"Who's the spawn now, bitch?"
I grin crazily at him and break his bones like glass before tearing up his flesh
"K-Kaeler?"
I snap out of my head after hearing her sweet voice
I look at the mess I made and turn around
Y/n held our baby close to her chest,I wasn't sure if the look on her face was from fear or worry
"A-are you okay?I'm sorry! please don't leave me"

She walked over to me and hug me

"Let's go treat those cuts on you and rest,shall we?"
I sigh and smile down at her
Our daughter was already asleep
