As the afternoon elapsed, you wandered aimlessly along the reflective cream-hued paths of the sanctuary in a trudge, admiring the small family-owned businesses from a good distance... until you ran across a bar?... WHY WOULD THEY OFFER A BAR IN HEAVEN?!. You couldn't complain... Getting involved in a bit of gluttony after a dreadful day in the office is far from discreditable.

You contemplated silently for a moment before entering, it didn't stagger you that the place lacked of an audience, observing the glistening interior with a quirked brow... even the bars are inhabited with porcelain indecisive decor that would likely crumble to the mere touch, it truly proves just how high the standards are in this ethereal environment.

A man stood behind the bar counter, cleaning out shot glasses with a schmatte. He batted an eye in your direction, giving you a quick skim over before offering a smile that screamed 'customer service is key'.

As he stirred to face the gantry shelves, you approached the bar with a lack of desirable intent. You though momentarily, thinking about your lack of occupation... you furrowed your brows
"...do you have any positions open?..."
You abruptly asked, resulting in the bartender to glance over his shoulder in your direction with a questioning gaze. He pivoted to face you.

"Yup, we are actually currently searching for waitresses/waiters..."
The man responded in a gruff tone, offering a bit of a more sincere smile.

You offered a smile of your own, emitting a relieved hum.
"Well, I was hoping to maybe fill out an application?... I just arrived here and I'm searching for a job..."
You admitted a bit more sheepishly than intended, winning an amused chuckle from the man... he put up on finger as a gesture to await for his return before disappearing behind an employees only door that rested beyond the counter.

You sighed softly, deciding you'd take the moment to scrutinize the lackluster presences inhabiting the establishment, your eyes landed on what appeared to be a couple in a corner booth. They both laughed in unison, sharing longing gazes and loving smiles that lit up the atmosphere, both occupied by large glasses of frozen margaritas with a golden tinge... you smiled grimly at the display... proud of them, but also jealous of such a wholesome concept you were foreign to...

The man returned with a sheet, breaking you out of your daze as you whipped your head back around. He slid it infront of you along with a pen, you shifted yourself to sit upon one of the highstools, taking the pen in hand as you read over all of the statements and questions that followed...

Adam arrived at his abode, quick to snatch his guitar by the strap and swiftly (on the verge of being frantic) drape it on his shoulder before rushing out and releasing a enthusiastic howl. His arms extended above his head with two rock-on gestures as he snickered mischievously. Everyone looked in his direction with either disgust or admiration at the audacity of his action.

\\A/N: I'm so, SO, sorry this story is EVERYWHERE- but I'm seriously just making it up as I go, so that's why it all could be described as 'rushed' or ' disorientating'...:(//

Once you completed the application, you handed it back to the bartender, in which as response shoved into a small compartment beneath the counter out of your peripheral vision. He gave a smile, leaning over the counter with intertwined arms.
"I'll hand it to the manager later on..."
He assured, you nodded to show acknowledgment before standing up to make your leave... your glance towards the couple went unnoticed as you pushed through the doors.
