7 -Marriage

Kala stares at the clothes and jewelry placed in front of her. Her heart is racing so fast that she feels like she will faint at any moment. The news she learned from his brother is slowly soaking into her head. Her father proclaimed her relationship with King Namjoon a few hours earlier, and an hour later, he declared that she will marry tomorrow. The time is flying by, and she is currently deciding on her wedding attire. She wants to marry him and is happy, but the method they are being married does not sit well with her. She had hidden the dragger she purchased from the blacksmith in her dress since the incident.

Her hands are constantly checking the weapon for its presence, while her eyes scan the area for any potential danger. It is the first time in her 20 years that she has been attacked or perhaps kidnapped. "Which one did you select? " Aera's voice sounded from behind, and Kala immediately sprang up, inspecting her in concern. She placed her fingers on Aera's forehead and asked, "Are you feeling better? You're not dizzy right?" Aera laughs at her anxiety, stating, "I'm fine, princess; the medic said I was given sleeping medication, that's all." They both sat in front of a selection of apparel, and Kala announced, "Aera, I'm getting married tomorrow."

Sleep was out of her reach. Kala sat back on her bed, sulking slightly. The thoughts of today's incident and her future tomorrow are keeping her awake. Her chamber has strong security, and she groans as she leaves her bed. She looked out her window, and the other side of the veranda came into view. Guards are standing carefully, and workers are preparing the palace for tomorrow's ceremony. Her gaze shifted to the opposite side, where she noticed her father and brother discussing something with their ministers. She smiles, turns around, and leaves her room to reach them.

"King Namjoon's family will arrive early in the morning, and we must greet them all with reverence". Her father speaks, and others nod. Jimin then states that
" no outsiders should attend--". He stopped speaking as Kala approached them. Everyone departed to give them privacy, and she sat next her father, placing her head on his father's shoulder. Her father patted her daughter's head and asked "are you not drowsy. " She answers, "No." Jimin then teases her, stating that "your excitement for Tomorrow keeps you awake." She nods,saying" excited not to see your donkey face starting tomorrow. " She chuckles, raising her head, and Jimin glares at her, saying, "You dare to tease the King of Malya."

"Of course, your majesty, only I would dare to taunt you." She says, and everyone laughs together. She was smiling with her family when she noticed Taehyung holding the decoration material, along with another worker passing by from the front. When Taehyung looks in her direction, she swiftly shifts her attention. He smirks when he notices her glancing at him and continues his walk.

White and scarlet flowers are shown, along with pink drapes neatly set on pillars. The sky is turning orange to purple, suggesting that the sun will set in a few hours. Jimin is in charge of everything around the carousel. The sofas had been prepared, and the priest was waiting for the couples. Park Junhae arrived at the spot dressed in a royal costume and requested that the servant call both King Namjoon and his daughter. King Namjoon arrived in a gorgeous hand-embroidered garment that made him appear like a god. Everyone was only looking at him when he walked gracefully to the carousel's couch.

Taehyung arrived with juice in the tray. His eyes were sharply focused on the surroundings as he approached Park Junhae, Kala's father. "Your highness, juice." Junhae refused, stating "I didn't feel like drinking right now. "Taehyung fake smiled and said, "Your Highness, Princess herself has ordered that you drink the juice; she wants you to stay hydrated." Junhae took the glass off the platter and smiled as he drank the juice, believing ' my daughter was concerned about me.' Taehyung turned to leave the carousel, smirking at King Namjoon, who was waiting for the Princess.
