space boy. the lil boy. the baby. the silly even... eughbfh sorry if im saying a lot i just had a inspiration craze and i think i traumadumped him im sorry i just had this amazing backstory idea

- certified eeper, sleeps for like.. 10 hours? 8? 9??? either way he sleeps like a goddamn log

- lives on sci-fi literature and lychee flavoured candy (i love lychee flavoured candy)

- alien autism?????

- might be learning how to make spaceships and space flares because space is cool and all and backghround stuffs

- permaswaddled like soggy cat.. astro can in fact unswaddle himself but he likes the blanket

- four-armed (real??)

- LOVES exploring.. especially outdoors or in observatories.. or like anything with a clear night sky

- headcanoning that most of the toons are children/tweens, child audience and all.. anyways astro is 11, in earth years (alien years he's like 6 and a half), birthday 8th feb????

- stargazes a lot

- (bit of a ramble) tbh i headcanon that Astro was actually born on the moon / another planet / another solar system or further, and somehow got here, as of cartoon lore, and dandy gave him the blanket and all.. astro looks up at the night sky a lot because he thinks that if he looks out for his parents, somewhere out there... they might find him again and he'd be able to reunite with them... which is kind of why he looks sad all the time. he misses hims family. the blanket's emotional support, the nightcap was his dad's.

- the fact he has only like one visible eye miiight be an injury from when he somehow ended up on this planet

- Astro doesn't remember a lot from their home system, but the planet he lived on was chill and nice and the people were friendly. and was probably several lightyears away from earth

- he'd definitely cry during the slime rancher ending.. being far from people he loves is a sensitive topic for him and all

- astro he/they pronouns (mainly he/him)

- stares at glitter sometimes because it reminds him of stars

- kinda sparkly (glitter)

- doesn't like crunchy food

- gets the common cold a lot because alien immune system not used to human diseases

- very soft/quiet voice.. like.. he's sometimes asked to speak a bit louder

- tries his best to be comforting, needs comfort himself but can't bring himself to it

- (another ramble??) astro is scared of photography because, as his little self faintly remembers, his family's spaceship was damaged by a supernova, he thinks they survived, but he had to be sent off in some kind of escape pod to ensure his safety, and camera flashes remind him of that and he just gets rrrreeeaaalllyyyy anxious that it'd happen again- that and introverted..

- would absolutely rock the cosmic witch vibe for halloween
