Story 1: Can I Fly?

Mitch is driving to school with his mom when they get stuck in a long traffic jam

Mitch: Mom, why are we not moving?
Mom: It’s a traffic jam, Mitch. No one is moving.
Mitch: It is so boring.
Mom: Ya it is. Let’s listen to some music.

As their car gradually began to move, Mitch saw a few parrots flying in coordination

Mitch: Mom, look, 3 parrots flying together.
Mom: Ya, they are looking beautiful.
Mitch: Mom, what would happen if we were also able to fly?
Mom: Hahaha! We would have a great view from top.
Mitch: Yes, and we would not be stuck in a traffic jam like this one.
Mom: Yes, and we might well reach your school on time every morning.
Mitch: It would take only 2 mins to reach school, mom.
Mom: Yes exactly, and your football class as well.
Mitch: Would you fly with me, or I would fly alone?
Mom: Well, you are very young. So, at least for a few years, I would still fly with you.
Mitch: So, that means all children would come flying with their parents to school.
Mom: That would cause a traffic jam in the sky as well.
Mitch: Hahahaha! Yes, that would be fun. Looking at people hanging in the sky.

Adam: Yes mom, but I cannot tell you why.
Mom: I see, so is it a secret?
Adam: Well, not a secret! Ok, I’ll tell you if you promise to not get angry.
Mom: OK sure. Now, tell me what’s up.

Adam ran to his room and got his book of fairy tales. He opened it up to page 52 and showed his mom a picture.

Adam: Do you see this, mom?
Mom: Yes, it’s a picture of the sky from one of the stories in your favourite story book.
Adam: What if I tell you that I’ve been partying at this place every night!
Mom: How is that possible? You sleep in your room every night.
Adam: I don’t know, mom. I dance and dance under the stars and I wake up in my bed.
Mom: Hehehehe, I understand what is going on.
Adam: What mom?
Mom: You remember the fluorescent stars and moon on your room ceiling?
Adam: Yes, of course I do.
Mom: Soooo, I think you might be dreaming and partying with those stars every night.
Adam: Hahahahaha! So, I’ve been dreaming of partying! Now I get it!
