"God, we've been going in circles for hours," Veruca said, annoyed as Charlie, Mike, and Violet nodded. They then found the room they were looking for and saw Augustus chained up, scarred and bruised.
Augustus looked utterly different. He was thinner now due to what Wonka put him through. He had light golden skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes. He wore the same outfit as a child: a buttoned-up white shirt, a black coat, a black tie with flowers embroidered on it, black shorts, white socks, and black shoes.
He looked up and saw Charlie and the others. "C-charlie? I-is that you?" he said in his scared German accent as Charlie nodded.
"Yeah, it's me. I'm with the others, are you okay? What happened to you?" Charlie unlocked the lock from Augustus's cuffs with a handcuff key he kept, which helped him a lot. "I got drugged with chocolate and ended up beaten up and scared."
Augustus explained as Charlie rolled his eyes. "Of course, this seems to be a pattern, great," he muttered as Augustus saw the badge on Charlie's belt.
"Wow, Charlie, I'm so glad you're here, and you're a cop; that's amazing."
Charlie smiled a little. "Heh yeah", he said as they all left the room to find Wonka and walked down the sickly, sweet corridor.
Charlie started to get flashbacks from the place. He shivered as they all walked down the corridor, and blood and chocolate bled through the walls. "God, this smells so bad," Mike grimaced.
"Yeah, it does," Veruca said as they all heard footsteps, hid against a wall, and listened to a monotone song sung through the halls. "What the hell is that noise?" Violet whispered as Charlie took out his gun, turned the corner, and saw the Oompa Loompas working on machinery and other tasks for Wonka. They seemed emotionless and monotone, like robots programmed to obey their masters.
"Oh my god, it's the Oompa Loompas. I can't believe that they're still working for that madman", Augustus muttered as Charlie nodded in agreement as they snuck around so they wouldn't get caught.
"Ugh, I know. I would have thought they'd have escaped or something" Mike whispered
