In his spacious office, Jungkook glanced up from his work to see Evan curled up on a little rug, fast asleep. The boy's cheeks were flushed, making him look even more endearing. Jungkook's heart softened at the sight, thinking to himself that Evan must be exhausted from the day's events. He adjusted his posture and let out a sigh, his thoughts drifting to Jimin.

Jungkook's eyes shifted to the window, where he had a clear view of Jimin's shop. It was still closed, and worry started to creep in. "Where are you, Jimin?" he muttered under his breath, unable to shake off the unease.

He stood up and walked over to Evan, crouching down to gently brush a few strands of hair from his son's face. Evan stirred slightly but didn't wake up, his small chest rising and falling in a peaceful rhythm. Jungkook smiled softly, feeling love and concern.

"My baby" Jungkook whispered. "You were really looking forward to seeing Jimin today."

Standing up, Jungkook returned to his desk, his mind still occupied with thoughts of Jimin. He couldn't help but feel that something was wrong. Jimin's shop had always been a constant, a reliable spot of cheerfulness and warmth, especially for Evan. The unusual closure gnawed at him.

Jungkook sat back down and picked up his phone. He hesitated for a moment, contemplating whether he should try calling Jimin. However, he decided against it, not wanting to come off as overly intrusive. Instead, he resolved to wait a bit longer, hoping Jimin would show up by the evening.

As he worked, his eyes would occasionally drift back to Evan and the closed shop. Time seemed to crawl, each tick of the clock amplifying his worry. He finished a few tasks and looked out the window again. Still no sign of Jimin.

The hours passed, and Jungkook's concern deepened. He couldn't focus entirely on his work, his thoughts repeatedly returning to Jimin and the closed shop. Finally, as the workday neared its end, he decided it was time to pick up Evan and head home.

Jungkook gently woke Evan, who stirred and rubbed his eyes, still looking a bit flushed from sleep. "Come on, buddy" Jungkook said softly. "Time to go home."

Evan nodded sleepily and allowed Jungkook to help him up. As they walked out of the office, many employees greeted them, but Evan remained unusually quiet, still feeling the absence of his beloved "Diminie."

They exited the building, and Jungkook placed Evan on the ground. The boy immediately sprinted toward Jimin's shop with anticipation. However, when they arrived, Evan's excitement turned to confusion and sadness as he saw that the shop was still closed.

His small lips wobbled, and he sat down on the pavement, hiding his face in his tiny hands as he sobbed uncontrollably.

Jungkook panicked at the sight of his son crying so desperately; it was the last thing he wanted to see. Evan rarely cried because Jungkook always tried to fulfill his wishes, but this time, nothing could console him.
