The Covert Operation

Chapter 1- The robbery

Red alarms rang all over the Avalon National Security Agency.

"Connect me to Major Shawn," said the agent Sam Sonet.

" On it sir." The country of Avalon had just experienced the biggest robbery of the prime minister's crown. The crown was gifted by the King Roger of Burandis which used to be a part of Avalon. After the fight for independence in 1976, Avalon became its own democratic country. On that day, the newly appointed president was gifted a custom designed golden crown. The crown isn't important because of its price, it is important to the country's independence and shows support to all of the freedom fighters who lost their lives to make Avalon its own country.

" Sir, you have been connected to the Avalon Military Bureau."

" Major, did you hear about what happened at the parliament," said Sam Sonet. Agent Sam had been the agent in charge of the ANSA for more than 25 years. He had always done his job properly and had received various medals for his hard work.

" Yes I did. I also had a talk with the president. He wants the the military to work with the ANSA to get the crown back in less than 2 days," replied Major.

" Copy that sir. We will give you all the help which you need to retrieve the crown back. Give us 2 hours to find more evidence from the parliament."

" Agent I need everyone from ANSA working on indentifying who stole the crown while the military will work on the criminal's location," said the major.

" Yes sir."

At the military headquarters in the outskirts of Avalon, everyone is working on the robbery and identifying the criminal's location. Major Shawn has put Captain Richards Mayman, Maya Richards and Ray Pel in charge.

" Sir, are you sure that these 3 lazy captains will help us, you should have taken me in charge," complained Captain Raymond.

" Raymond, I know what I am doing. These 3 are the perfect fit. They are lazy, but not when the country needs them. Call them in my office."

" You guys only have 3 hours to determine the location of the crown. Now get back to work" ordered Major.

" Sir," replied the captains.

"Listen up everyone, no one is leaving this HQ until we have gotten the crown back. We are in charge of this mission, so if you have any clues, tell one of us first. Everyone should be working on this one thing. Understand?"

It had been 30 minutes and there had been no clues about what had happened at the parliament.

" Guys, come on. Hurry up. Try to unlock the hacked cameras of the parliament," demanded Captain Richards.

The military team had unlocked the cameras in the underground bunker where the crown was kept. The camera footage was played, but there was no sight of any evidence of the robbers.

"There is no evidence in this. All of the criminals have their faces hidden. We need something else."

There 3 captains came up with an idea to figure out the criminals.

" Guys listen up. We have a clue. The underground bunker is equipped with the multi code lock which cannot be hacked. So this means that the robbers have used someone to know the code. There is a traitor between us. Ray, tell me who had the code for the lock," said Maya.

Ray had said only the prime minister and his secretory knew the code. The prime minister would not give up the code, which means the secretory is the traitor.

Captain Richards had taken the responsibility to interrogate president's secretory while Maya and Ray got more evidence from the camera footage.

" Guys, we have really important news from the ANSA," said Major Shawn.
