The comfort

Weeks had now passed since the deaths of Autumn and Winter. It had been over a month since the death of Marjorie and yet Vivian and Sara still hadn't found the perpetrator. Marjorie, Agatha, Jodie, Stephen, Autumn and Winter had all been murdered. The killer was still lurking, it could be anyone. They need to find the culprit before there's more devastating consequences.

Forensics had found the note saying that Autumn wasn't the target. This confused Vivian and Sara even more because out of the two they wouldn't expect for Winter to be the target. There was only one person they could think that could have a potential motive but he was already ruled out. The past weeks Vivian and Sara had been continually going to visit and informally question every suspect. They still couldn't determine who was being deceitful. The killer was a very good liar.

Autopsies had now been performed on Jodie, Stephen, Autumn and Winter. There were no notes on Autumn and Winter and they wouldn't be able to find any remnants in the kitchen. Everything was destroyed.  They weren't able to tell much from this but they determined that due to the power and height that the rake hit Jodie it meant that the killer was a woman. This then ruled out Reece, Eric and further proved it wasn't Roger. They also determined that because of the note saying Autumn wasn't the target that these kills weren't spontaneous, they were premeditated. They planned victims.

The past weeks Reece was staying with Mia and Charlotte. He couldn't bare to be alone and neither woman trusted him to be. They both knew how destroyed he was feeling. He had lost almost everyone close to him. Mia, Charlotte and Carly were all he had left. Mia was trying her best to comfort Reece, she was in a relationship on and off with him for over 20 years so she knew exactly how to. It never worked, he was inconsolable but Mia just being there for him meant the world to Reece. They were best friends growing up and the fact she still cared about him so much showed just how much of a good person she was under her tough shell. Charlotte was also trying to comfort Reece but it was harder for her, she needed comfort herself. Her girlfriend was always there to provide that for her. She didn't know what she would do without her.

Carly and Eric had been spending a lot of time together the past few weeks. They both had promised to protect each other and that's exactly what they were gonna do. Eric had been coming round to Carly's house to watch movies together. They weren't interested in each other at all but they both loved the comfort of spending this time together. They both knew they could feel safe together.

Sorscha had spent the past weeks with her wife Clodagh and her daughter Quinn. They didn't want to leave each other's side. They just shut themselves off from everyone and stayed in the safety of their home. They just wanted to pretend none of this had happened. They just wanted to look after Quinn and ignore their reality.

Everyone was so hopeful that this was the end. It had been a few weeks now and surely the police would have a suspect by now. But they didn't. They had no leads. They didn't know what to do. It was only a matter of time before the killer became active again. A lot sooner than they thought. Night had now fallen and the killer was on their way to their next victim. Six victims was about to become seven.
