< The Same Day>

{Mineta's Perspective}

Bakugo has been in the hall for some time now. I'm not concerned about the reason for being out there, I have noticed that he and I seem to have grown closer over the past few days. Conversations from some classmates, including unexpected comments, have caught my attention. "What he did to Midoriya was uncalled for. How could he do that to him?" I heard Kirishima say. "Yeah, Bakugo really went off on him! I feel bad for Midoriya for having to put up with him for over a year," Kaminari added. I'm unsure of the specifics, but it's shocking how Bakugo's closest friends can have such quickly changing opinions about him.

Suddenly, the classroom door opens, and Bakugo returns to gather his things before exiting again. Where could he be going? I guess my classmates have the same questions and began directing questions at Aizawa. He finally responded, and what he said left me in shock.

"As you all know, the kitchen was extensively damaged this week, and Midoriya sustained serious injuries. After further investigation, we have confirmed that both incidents were caused by Bakugo, who will not be able to attend classes until next week."

I glanced around the room, seeing expressions of shock similar to mine, with a few smug looks among those in the so-called 'Bakusquad.' Their support certainly left much to be desired. I hope Bakugo is doing alright. I'll make an effort to talk to him later to see if I can offer some comfort.

{Deku's Perspective}

As my eyes flutter open, I find myself in an unfamiliar place. 'Where am I?' I wonder, observing the white walls, white floors, and a lingering scent of antiseptic. It dawns on me that I must be in Recovery Girl's office. But why? I remember going to Bakugo's room and... "Ah, dear, you're finally awake! How are you feeling?" Recovery Girl greets me. "Your back was quite injured, but don't worry, I've taken care of it. There may be a small scar left, though." As I try to glance at my back and notice the scar, I recall the incident with Bakugo. 'I must have been hurt during that fight.'

"It was terrible what he did. I hope he faces the consequences,"I hear someone mutter, only to hear a familiar voice respond. "Todoroki?"

"You know you shouldn't be moving around too much yet; you're still injured." I sit up and attempt to stand, but I can't shake the feeling of urgency. "I need to talk to Bakugo." Suddenly, I feel a hand on my wrist—it's Todoroki. Why is he stopping me? And why do I find comfort in his grip?

"Why would you want to see your ex-boyfriend? He clearly wants nothing to do with you. If you need proof, you now have a scar on your back," he points out. He's right; Bakugo and I are no longer together, I still care about him but it may be hard to talk about the notebook. Also to be honest seeing him would just make me angry. How could he just do that to me? Maybe he is right, we were just not the same. He has his own business so I should keep mine. It's not like we're dating anymore, But not having him made me feel empty inside and lonely...

"Todoroki, I understand; it isn't the best idea. Just please don't leave me," I reply, a tear rolling down my face. It becomes evident that Todoroki has always been there for me—more so than Bakugo ever was. "Please stay—we can talk, right?" When I meet his gaze, I can see the surprise reflected in his eyes. "Yea, we can do that."

We settled back down on the bed, and I shared everything weighing on my mind—the notebook, the breakup, and all of my feelings. This moment marked the beginning of our closer bond, evolving from friendship into something more.
