Pacifica was in the local book store, browsing different books. She hoped to find one for Gideon, as she was out shopping and wanted to grab something for him. Her eyes were soon drawn to the mystery section.
She gently dragged her fingers across the covers of different hardcover books before she finally decided on one. Pacifica carefully picked it up and looked over the bright cover before quickly skimming the back and deciding it was perfect.
Sure, it was a generic ghost story, but she knew how much gideon adored those books.

Pacifica paid and left with the book clutched to her chest. She walked down the street at a swift pace, now excited to deliver him the book. She made a turn and continued down the street, not looking too carefully at her surroundings until she suddenly felt a hard shove, forcing her down. The girl groaned as she raised a hand to the back of her head, which she'd hit on the pavement.

"Watch where you're going, jesus." a voice spoke out. Pacific looked up and saw Mabel. Mabel stood in front of her, looking down at her. Mabel was wearing her usual show outfit from the Tent of Telepathy; a black dress shirt, a cyan blazer, and her black skirt and black tights combo. Dipper stood next to her. It was clear he wasn't the one to shove her even if he was complicit in Mabel's bullying. He had an expression of mild annoyance towards Mabel. It was clear he just wanted to go about his errands or whatnot without being delayed. The two twins finally walked away, the sound of Mabel's clicking heels against the ground still managed to make Pacifica uncomfortable.

Pacifica finally picked the book back up, holding back tears as she stood up, preparing to continue walking to the mystery shack. Why did they have to be such jerks? She brushed off some dirt off her knees before she began to walk down the street. Suddenly, she got a phone call.

"H-hello?" Pacifica sniffled as she answered the call. To her surprise, it was gideon on the other side. "Gideon!" She exclaimed, instantly cheered up. "What's up?" she asked. Pacifica paused for a moment as she listened to gideon speak. He asked her to come to the mystery shack asap, she agreed and hung up. Gideon sounded really serious. Something must've happened..

Pacifica arrived at the mystery shack and let herself in. It was normal for her to enter whenever as she was basically family. The girl ran upstairs, clutching the book she bought for Gideon. Once she reached his room, she swung the door open. "What's wrong?! Did something happen-" She exclaimed before she was cut off by the sight of Mabel and Dipper, sitting on Gideon's floor.

The twins were a little shocked to see her, she appeared nothing like the Pacifica they knew. Her blonde hair wad tied up with a purple scrunchie, she wore a jacket that consisted of bright clashing colours, clearly 80s inspired (Mabel couldn't hell but be a little jealous). This day just kept getting crazier and crazier...

"Pacifica!" Gideon explained with a smile, quickly noting her puzzled expression. "Oh! I can explain, I promise." She nodded sceptically as she walked inside the room.
"Dipper, show her your journal." Gideon said as he pulled out his own. The two Pine trees pulled out their identical journals, showing them to Pacifica. "We're from a different universe." Dipper said sheepishly as he eventually pulled his journal away.

She looked over at Gideon in shock, as if this was all a big joke. But to her surprise, he nodded, confirming Dipper was telling the truth. "This is insane.." She mumbled as she sat down next to her best friend on the bed. "Oh yeah, I got you this." Pacifica mentioned as she handed him the book before resting her head in her hands as if the confusing situation was bringing on a migrane.

Gideon smiled as he looked over the cover. Pacifica knew him well. He'd hope so, at least considering they'd been best friends for years. He placed the book at his side before he turned to Pacifica. "Thanks, I love it." He exclaimed. "And uh.. I suppose you're wondering why they're here." He mumbled. Pacifica nodded. She was horribly confused.
"Could either of you explain to her?" Gideon asked as he rubbed the back of his head.

The twins nodded and went on to repeat everything they'd told Gideon:about Bill, his almost defeat and why they were here now. Pacifica was clearly shocked. She needed to take this all in. She knew that weird things were real. Hell, she'd seen most of the stuff in Gideon's journal in real life! But another world? Another dimension? This was insane..

Dipper finally piped up after a couple of silent minutes. "So, will you guys help us defeat Bill once and for all?" He asked nervously. Gideon and Pacifica looked at each other before finally nodding in unison.

"We'll help you." Gideon said with a smile.
