Dorinda pov:

I'm in Detroit for the weekend to preach at GEI COGIC and to spend time with my sisters cause I missed them so much wait let me catch y'all up I left detroit after my divorce from greg cause i caught that son of a bitch in our bed wit my best friend since childhood kellis and got her pregnant i moved to new york 4 months ago and im loving it there.

It's Saturday evening and I'm on my way to my Airbnb I just came from the store to cook some lasagna and garlic bread and salad for dinner and everybody is coming over Jacky and her kids and grandkids Kierra and her family Karen and Drew jdrew and his kids and Nikki and Greg Jr I'm so excited to see my family.

I was getting the lasagna out of the oven when I heard the doorbell ring so I put it on top of the stove and wiped my hands off on the towel.

"Who is it."I asked going to the door

"Girl open this door you know who it is."I heard Jacky say.

I opened the door to see everyone standing there waiting to come in I let them in with hugs and kisses .

"I missed y'all so much."I told them

We missed you too auntie. Kierra say with everyone agreeing with her.

Everyone sat and talked with each other and I finished making dinner while that was getting done my niece Kierra and her wife Erica came in the kitchen they are so beautiful together they been together for 3 years.

"Hey y'all everything ok." I asked them

"Yes ma'am everything is fine." They said

"How has life been treating y'all what been going one with y'all." I asked them.

"Everything is going good auntie I'm have the time of my life with the woman I love and I love that for us because in my previous relationship I wasn't happy but with her I'm happy and I'm ready to see what God has planned for us." Kierra said to me.

"I agree with ki I'm glad I make her happy and I'm glad I get to see her smile."Erica said.

Dinner was ready and everyone sat around while I said grace over the food I know everyone was about to start with the loudness and the joking.

Everything was going good with dinner until Kierra had her 3 glass of wine and after that all hell broke loose with her and Erica and it was the funniest thing.

The next morning

The next morning came and I was up at 6:30am for church and I started to get ready when I got a call from Jacky and Karen to see if i was ready and i said yes and went down stairs and fixed me some avocado toast and fruit.

After I was done eating I cleaned up a little and left out the house to head to GEI.

I walked in and went to my sister's office where we walked to the congregation and sat down and church has begun.

After church we sat at Jacky's house for dinner which today is my last day with my family and now new beginnings has started for me
