A Noble Treat

Untitled Part 1

Noble Heart Horse sat beside his wife, Treat Heart Pig, in the doctor's office. Take Care: The doctor looked at Noble Heart and Treat Heart.
"The tests came back fine for Noble Heart. I'm afraid Treat Heart is the problem, but I don't know what is wrong with her."
Take Care looked at Treat Heart with sadness in her eyes. "I'm sorry to tell you this, Treat Heart, but you may never get pregnant.
Noble Heart reached for Treat Heart's hand, stood up, thanked Take Care, and led Treat Heart outside to the cloud car. Just as he was about to start the car, he heard his name being called.
He turned towards the voice, seeing his childhood friend True Heart Bear with her husband, Oopsy Bear; they walked over to the car, and True Heart reached over the car and hugged Noble Heart.
" Hey, True Heart, what are you and Oopsy doing here?" asked Noble Heart.
"I'm pregnant, Oopsy, and I just found out," said True Heart.
Under her breath, rolling her eyes, Treat Heart said, " Oh, Great. Now she is pregnant. Couldn't she have waited or chosen not to have a baby? Does everyone have to rub it in my face that they are pregnant and I'm not?"
" You say something, Treat Heart?" asked True Heart.
Noble Heart gave her a look.
"She said that's great. We're both so happy for you and Oopsy," Noble Heart said.
"So what are you and Treat Heart doing here?" asked True Heart.
"Well... um. We are trying to start a family," Noble Heart said as he looked at Treat Heart.
"That's great; good luck with that. I see you around me, and Oopsy has shopping to do," True Heart said as she and Oopsy walked off.
Noble Heart started the cloud car and drove off. When they were far from the doctor's office, Noble Heart opened his mouth.
" Treat Heart, True Heart heard you say something. It would have upset her if she had heard what you said. Oopsy wouldn't have been too happy, and I wouldn't have been too happy. True Heart is a dear friend of mine; she's like a sister to me."
"Oh, and you think I'm not upset, Noble Heart? Wish Bear and Too Loud Bear have kids, Grumpy Bear and Cheer Bear have a baby, Champ Bear, and Swift Heart Rabbit are expecting their third child, Tender Heart, and Love-a-lot are expecting their first cub, Love-a-lot is in labor at this moment, so many others are pregnant or have kids, and now True Heart is pregnant.
I'm sorry, Noble Heart. I know I shouldn't have said that, but what about me? What's wrong with me? Why can't I get pregnant?
Tears ran down Treat Heart's face as she started sobbing. Noble Heart sighed to tell the truth when True Heart told him she was pregnant. While he was happy for her, he also felt sad. He and Treat Heart had tried almost everything, but there was no baby. He hated seeing Treat Heart this upset. He wanted to cheer her up and make her feel better.
Noble Heart thought for a moment. Treat Heart loved sweets; her favorite ice cream flavor was a birthday cake with sprinkles and caramel on top.
Noble Heart stopped at Amigo Bear and Friend Bear's ice cream shop and told Treat Heart that he would be right back.
When he walked into the ice cream shop, Amigo greeted him.
"Hi, Noble Heart; what can I get you?" "Hey Amigo, I take a birthday cake cone to go."
"Nothing for you?" Asked Amigo.
"No!" replied Noble Heart.
Amigo looked at Noble Heart, shrugged at Friend Bear, and got what Noble Heart wanted. He then got a small milkshake with Noble Heart's favorite ice cream flavor. Amigo walked back over towards Noble Heart and handed him the items.
"I didn't order this, Amigo."
"Just take it, Noble Heart. It's on the house. Noble Heart thanked Amigo and left. He walked to the cloud car where Treat Heart was and handed Her the cone.
Treat Heart's eyes went wide as she looked at the ice cream. "What's this for?" Asked to Treat Heart.
"Can't a husband do something nice for his wife for no reason," asked Noble Heart.
Treat Heart leaned towards Noble Heart, burying her face in Noble Heart's chest.
"Thank you, honey, this means a lot to me; I'm so lucky to have you in my life, Noble Heart."
The rest of the way home was quiet.
When Noble Heart woke up the next day, he noticed Treat Heart was already making breakfast for them.
"Hey, honey." Noble Heart said as he kissed Treat Heart on the forehead.
"Hi, Noble Heart," said Treat Heart. Treat Heart put the pancakes she made for Her and Noble Heart on the table.
Noble Heart dug in a bit later. He noticed Treat Heart was picking at her food, which was odd for her, and Noble Heart could tell she was still upset about yesterday.
"How about we go to the cafe you love so much for lunch," said Noble Heart.
"Um, sure, Noble Heart, we can go there for lunch replied Treat Heart.
"But please eat something, Treat Heart," Noble Heart said as he squeezed Treat Heart's hand.
