Ao Xingyuan emerged from the water, not as gracefully as you expected, disturbing the water greatly as he got up and making it create loud sloshing noises.

Having been in the water for some time, Ao Xingyuan's peculiar trousers became soaked completely, clinging to his legs as if they were a second skin. Since he typically wore long robes and baggy pants, it was the first time you saw how muscular his legs were, but this was to be expected from a man who emerged victorious from many wars in the past.

However, soaking in the water also revealed this man's tail.

Seeing it so clearly for the first time, you couldn't help but look down at it. Noticing where your gaze was, Ao Xingyuan shyly tried to hide it, but his actions were futile as it was too long.

Ao Xingyuan: It's...your first time seeing it, isn't it?

Ao Xingyuan: Right...my... My tail.

Seemingly less shy now, Ao Xingyuan unfurled his long, white tail from behind him. It was shiner and more iridescent than you expected, perhaps this quality of it highlighted by the fact it was wet. On it were a few sporadic golden scales, and soft looking semi-transparent white fins lined with gold adorning its top. As it narrowed to its end, one singular, large golden fin marked the end of his tail.

Me: Wow, it's more beautiful than I expected, now that I can see it fully.

Me: ...May I touch it?

Xingyuan didn't say a word, but the way he moved his tail out in front of him was enough of an invitation. Upon touching it, you felt its smooth texture that was interrupted by the slightly rough edges of each scale.

Me: Wow, I never thought I'd get the chance to touch a dragon tail in my lifetime. Thank you, Xingyuan. That was nice.

Ao Xingyuan: Haha it was nothing... Erm if you ever want to touch it again in the future... I'll allow it.

Me: Really? I'd love that. I'll ask you often then! Hehe.

Ao Xingyuan smiled and blushed, clearing his throat and looking down.

Ao Xingyuan: You... Come into the water, it's nice and hot, but not overly hot. It's comfortable and warm. A nice contrast to the cool, dry air today.

Your hesitance to enter the water returned to the top of your head, and you just stood silently for a moment looking at Xingyuan. A droplet of water ran down his arm as you looked at him. The look in his eyes was pure and earnest, and the small smile between his lips was directed at you. You decided there was no way you could say no to him any longer.
