Summer was over and school was, unfortunately, back in session. Y/n had finished getting ready and was making her way downstairs where her sister and her brother were at. The three grabbed their backpacks, saying a quick goodbye to their parents before going to school.

It was the start of senior year and Y/n couldn't be any less excited.

Anthony and Sam walked inside the high school while Y/n stayed behind, waiting by the doors. A few minutes later, Eli and Demetri had arrived. Eli waved at Demetri before walking inside.

Y/n smiled as Demetri walked to her. "Hey," he said with a small smile.

"Hi," Y/n replied softly. Demetri leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on Y/n's lips before the h/c-haired girl grabbed his hand and walked inside. A few ex- cobra's, Miyagi-do's, and eagle-fangs greeted them with wide smiles. The guys dabbing up Demetri and greeting Y/n.

The school day went fairly smoothly. Their first day hadn't ended in a fight and that was a win in Y/n's book.

Like countless times, practice happened after school. Y/n changed and drove to the dojo with her siblings. A few others arrived soon after. Y/n warmed up, hitting a punching bag for a few minutes before joining her sister and brother. They practiced their kata, Eli and Demetri joining in seconds later. 

Minutes later Eli ran off to his car before coming back, holding an easel and a poster covered by white fabric. "What the hell is that?" Y/n asked as Eli set it up.

"The answer to one of this dojos problems" Demetri replied confidently. Eli nodded with a smirk before he nodded his head to Demetri. The two made their way over to where their three senses were discussing. Daniel, Chosen, and Johnny walked out, joining the crowd of students that were waiting eagerly for the duo to reveal what was under the fabric.

Demetri and Eli stood on the deck in front "It's been a long road, but we're finally all on the same side" Eli began "And as a reward? The toughest test any of us have ever had to face."

"The Sekai Taikai is the most prestigious karate tournament in modern martial arts history." Demetri continued "For over a century, fighters from across the globe have gathered every two years to compete for the title of World's Best."

"If the All Valley is March Madness, this is the Olympics, plus the gladiator games and the Kumite from Bloodsport all rolled into one," Eli added on.

"If we win–" Eli cleared his throat "Excuse me," Demetri corrected himself "When we win, the spoils will be life-changing."

"But it's going to take all of our focus and all the wisdom our senseis have to offer." Eli glanced at the three older men.

"Yes, which is why we decided to take at least one thing off your plates. Coming up with our new dojo name" said the raven-haired boy.

"Yes! After some spirited brainstorming and ad hoc focus grouping, and also a dojo-wide vote, we have a winner. We give you–" Eli pulled off the fabric, tossing it to the ground revealing a drawing of Mr. Miyagi doing the crane kick with fangs, flames in the background. "Miyagi Fang Karate!" Eli and Demetri said in unison.

Y/n furrowed her brows at the drawing. It was definitely interesting. They could have seriously taken a different approach with Mr. Miyagi's drawing. It seemed like Daniel agreed too. He pulled Johnny and Chosen back inside the dojo saying they had to 'discuss such a big decision.'

Miguel and Robby had invited Y/n and Demetri along for their double date with Sam and Tory. If Y/n was being honest, a triple date with the four sounded like a disaster. Even if Robby and Miguel had made up, there was still some tension between Sam and Tory. They agreed to come along but ultimately decided on wandering off just the two of them.
