A couple days later (Friday)

Bridget's POV

It's the end of the day. I've got tutoring again. I need to pay attention this time, I can't disappoint them again. They told me that the class had to be postponed 30 minutes because they had a meeting so I went home to get changed. I arrive home and call Jessie. We sit and talk about me moving about how everything's going to work over there. I started to change nothing too fancy but I was going for dinner with Jessie after the lesson so something somewhat nice. I grabbed a black silk top and a pair of black pants. I added my converse and some silver jewellery. I realised I only had 15 minutes to finish getting ready and get back to school so I rushed to the bathroom and put on my foundation, contour, setting powder, blush, eyeliner, mascara and a dark red lipstick. I always thought I looked better with makeup...I feel naked without it honestly. I hung up the call with Jessie and made my way back to school. I was just in time to see my two teachers round the corner. They both smiled as they saw me. It was very obvious that Jamie was looking me up and down judging my outfit. She unlocked the door and we took our respective seats.

"What's with all the makeup?" Jamie asks, looking up at me as she opens her computer.

"Oh uhm my...boyfriend he's taking me out tonight he prefers it when I wear makeup. I've gotten used to it."

"You don't need it darling, you look perfect without it." Katie muttered the second part of the sentence but I still heard it. I blushed immensely at the comment. I look at Jamie as she stands to write something on the board.

"Miss? Are you actually allowed to wear a dress like that?" I never noticed she was wearing a totally backless black halter dress. I guess she does always wear her blazer on top.

"No, of course I'm not, that's why I always wear my jacket."

"Well let's get started. Remember to pay attention." Katie started off this time teaching me more about area, perimeter and volume. I started to take notes as Jamie watched over me until she suddenly was leaning over me and holding my pen.

"Not quite right Bridget." She pointed to one of my formulas and corrected it for me.

"It might be beneficial to copy your formulas properly."

"Thank you miss." I replied she smiled and nodded as she walked back and sat on top of the desk behind me. After 30 minutes Katie placed a piece of paper on my desk.

"That's your test hun, only a few questions." It was 3 and I got started. We were all having an amazing conversation and getting to know each other when suddenly my phone rang.

"Do you want us to leave?" Katie asked.

"No no, you can stay, it's fine." It was Jessie, why was he calling?

"Hey Jess..."

"Bridget, I'm sorry I have to cancel dinner." What...Cancel I got ready and everything. My eyes started to well up but I wouldn't allow myself to cry.

"Oh come on don't be so emotional girls always are. After all, darling soon we'll be heading out for dinner together every night."

"Yeah right...Ok i'll...bye." I hung up the phone and put it back in my handbag.

"Did he actually just cancel fucking dinner with you?" Katie half yelled. I nodded in response, still disheartened.

"What a pathetic excuse for a boyfriend." Jamie snarled.

"Well I think we can all agree this beauty can't go to waste." Katie said, looking at Jamie and approaching my desk leaning against it.

"Agreed...Well let's finish this lesson and while I start my portion, Katie can you two figure out somewhere to eat." I looked confused, my eyes switching between Katie and Jamie. Did they just say they were taking me to dinner, no way impossible.
