AASHI POV-
I was sitting in front of the mirror in my green coloured saree getting ready for my college's freshers party. I was trying my best to do my eyeliner perfect.
"Oh godd I m so done with this stupid eyeliner" I said getting frustrated "this was the third time I was doing it again".
"What happened? Why are you screaming your lungs out?" My best friend Shanaya said as she came out of the washroom wearing her beautiful pink saree. "Babe,you are looking fabb!! Looks like someone is going to be a hot topic among the boys." I said teasing her while smirking while she just laughed off my compliment.
"Let me do your eyeliner." She said grabbing the eyeliner from my hand and started doing it. "Here,you are done. Thank me later" she said winking at me. "Get ready fast or we will be late." She said highlighting the urgency of the situation. "You go I will come in a few minutes." I replied and she left not before nodding.

I was looking at myself in the mirror missing my home town Lucknow and my family. Life is so different here in Gurgaon,New Delhi. But still I was feeling blessed that I have my friend Shanaya who is like a family to me. Then I diverted my attention back to my touch ups.
I wore my earrings and heels. I was admiring myself in the mirror to do a final check until a notification popped up on my phone taking all my attention.
**A dead body of a girl found near an abandoned building at street 86. Dead body yet to be identified as it is in a brutal condition.**
I sighed looking at myself in the mirror and headed towards the door to leave for the party.

I locked the door of our room and started walking. I felt someone's gaze lingering on my back. My heart started pounding with fear of who it could be. I gained some courage and decided to turn around and see who it is? I turned around and almost collided with someone's hard chest.
I felt relieved seeing the person. He was Rachit Pandey. One of my and Shanaya's really good friend. We met him on the day we arrived itself,we all had a good time with each other.
"You almost scared me,duffer." I said while glaring at him playfully and he laughed. "Let's go together to the party." He said and we both started moving in the corridor.
We were moving when I felt someone's gaze again at my back. It's been a week since I arrived here with Shanaya and I always feel like being followed by someone whenever I step out of the room. But I ignored that gaze and kept moving with Rachit.

Soon we reached at the venue and Shanaya came running to me and said "oh god you are so late the party almost started. Come,let's go."
I took her hand and started walking towards a group of friends and Shanaya introduced me to all of them.
After a few moments,one of the girls phone popped with an notifications and she read it out aloud.
**The girl's dead body found near street 86 identified.**
She read. And before she could open the notification and know who is the girl,our college principal came to address us.
He said,"Good evening students. I am your college principal. I hope you knew me and even if didn't you do now. I hope this evening will be memorable for you all. Before carrying on with the party I would like to make you all alert as there are many dangers outside. And I hope you all are aware of it already. Now,I wish you all a very happy college year. I hope this fresher's party is memorable for you all. Thank you." And we all cheered.
We danced,talked and enjoyed a lot. After some time,I moved over to the bartender and asked him for a drink as I was really thirsty. But little did I knew it was not a normal drink? It had alcohol in it. And as soon as I drank it I started to feel dizzy. I decided to leave the party. I informed Shanaya she offered me to let her come with me but I refused. I left the party and arrived at the corridor.

I was walking through the corridor towards my room. I could feel someone following me. But I kept walking. I was feeling really weak and couldn't keep my eyes open. I almost collapsed until I felt two strong arms holding me from my shoulders preventing me from falling. And he pinned me to the wall I looked at his emerald brown eyes already staring at me. I couldn't see his face as he was wearing a black mask with all black outfit. Black hoodie, black jeans and black shoes.
I asked him,"you were the one following me through out this week,right?" I felt him smiling as his eyes grew shorter. And I collapsed in his arms.
