It was a lovely day in stunning Japan, and everyone was going about their daily lives. Students were busy learning, while adults headed to the train stations to get to work. The atmosphere was calm and serene. Now, let's zoom in on Miyagi Prefecture, known for its gorgeous mountains that encircle the area. Our focus is on a regular school called Karasuno, where the volleyball players were practicing in the gym, going through their usual drills in a peaceful setting.

"Hinata! You suck! Bend your legs more to receive!" Kageyama yelled at him.

Wrong.

"Shut up, Kageyama! I knew that!" Hinata answered with a pout little as he bent his legs too late and fell on his butt as the ball hit the back wall.

"Then why are you so trash at it?"

"It's looking like the shrimp is still bad at simple stuff like receiving." Tsukishima couldn't resist pointing out how hard Hinata was having with receiving. Hinata blushed in embarrassment at his comment, while Yamaguchi let out a laugh.

"Hinata will improve at receiving; it just takes some time!" Nishinoya joins in on their conversation.

Yamaguchi then joins the conversation. "Yeah, Tsukki's right!" Tsukishima looks over at Yamaguchi, giving him a sign to cut it out, causing Yamaguchi to turn a little red. while Hinata turns his gaze toward the blonde.

"You can't say anything about my receiving while your receiving isn't great either!" Hinata said to Tsukishima

"Well, at least the ball doesn't hit my face while I receive," he smirked.

"Shut up!" While they were arguing, Kiyoko quickly ran to catch the ball that had slipped from Hinata's hands and tossed it over to the other side of the net.

Karasuno's team was having a practice match amongst themselves since it had been a while since the Inter-High. They had just returned from a two-week training camp that Coach Nekomata invited them to after their first match with Nekoma at the Fukurodani Academy Athletic Association. And we're preparing for the preliminary of the spring tournament.

They were working harder than usual, probably making sure their new tricks (that they stole from the teams at the camp) would be working tip top in shape for the spring tournament.

But they were bickering like usual with each other in the middle of the match.

"Hey! Come on guys, stop auguring Daichi will get mad and no want that," he said as he was on the other side of the net.

"You were the first one to get him mad, Tanaka." Asahi let out a sigh while standing behind Tanaka, and Sugawara jumped in to add his thoughts on what Asahi just said. "Hm? Yeah, why are you trying to get them quiet?" He stood next to Tanaka poking him, watching him closely, and in that moment, Tanaka's shoulders slumped down, his pride as a senpai completely shattered. Sugawara gave Tanaka a pat on the back to help him feel better.

"Enough with the small talk; it's time to focus on practice again." Ukai said firmly to the team

"Yes coach!" Everyone said in unison that as they continued to practice, they had 6 sets in total, and both teams at least had 3 wins.

They all had finished; they all drank water afterwards and cleaned up the gym of their mess, but then Takeda-Sensei came running in his gym panting as he stopped at the entrance. "Where... going again?"

"Going where Takeda-Sensei?" Daichi asked, "We are going to Tokyo!"

Hinata's eyes lit up at the mention of Tokyo. "Wait, does that mean we're heading to Nekoma? 🤩" he exclaimed, bouncing up and down with excitement. Tsukishima shot him a disapproving glance. 😒

"Unfortunately, that's not the case," Takeda-Sensei said. Hinata responded with a tiny "aw" after hearing him. Tsukishima quietly called him an idiot before focusing on what Takeda-Sensei was about to explain.

"We'll be joining another school because they requested a team to practice under Nekoma-Sensei's recommendations!'"

"Really, when is it?" Tanaka asked eagerly

"We are going this weekend, and actually we'll be there until Monday afternoon, and we will be playing against some other teams while we are there," Takeda explained.

Nishinoya couldn't contain his excitement as he leaped into the air, throwing his hands up around Hinata. "Wow, this is going to be just as awesome as the train camp!" he exclaimed.

"Yeah!! Alright!!" Tanaka said while he trailed behind Nishinoya, who was spinning around Hinata, who was still buzzing with excitement. Tsukishima couldn't help but roll his eyes at the scene.

Kageyama is all set for training, looking super focused, but Tsukishima can't help but think he looks stupid.

Tsukishima rolled his eyes and said with irritation, "I don't get why you're all so pumped about hanging out with those fools."

Yamaguchi places his hand on his shoulder and responds to him. "Tsukki, everything will be okay; we can just brush them off." He flashes a smile and lifts his fist slightly, and Tsukishima secretly grins back at him, a faint blush creeping onto his cheeks.

Tanaka finally halted his spinning around Hinata, and Nishinoya accidentally collided with him. "Hey, why did you stop, man?" Nishinoya asked Tanaka.

Tanaka glared angrily at Tsukishima after he made a snarky remark. He was so furious that it felt like he could just claw Tsukishima's eyes out and charge at him. "Tsukishima, you bastard! You think you're so-" "Tanaka, quit acting so childish!" Daichi smacks him lightly on the side of his head.

Takeda-Sensei and Ukai both let out a sigh and smile at their wild players, knowing that this weekend would be an awesome time to get ready for the practice matches.

Takeda-Sensei distributes some papers to the guys and the managers, then speaks up again. "The principal handed me the forms for the practice match in Tokyo, so make sure your parents or guardians sign them. We need to turn them in by Thursday, so don't wait too long!"

Asahi glances at his own form before turning his attention to Takeda-Sensei. "Which team are we going to face in our first game?"

"Seirin volleyball team..."
