Na Umr Ki Seema Ho!!

As promised..Here it is!! I was itching to write something. Longest till date!! I never wrote such long chapter!! Also, it was pasted here..so if there is any error!! Do tell me pls..I will correct it!! I don't want to read it!! Thank you!! Happy Reading :)

"C'mon Wake up Ro!!"

"Let me sleep Vi!!"

"Fine!! It's your marriage today and here you are.. sleeping like a log!!"

"Cheeku!!", he heard his mother.

"Ro!! Wake up or else I will ask Rits to cancel the marriage!!"

"Ughh!! Happy now!! I am awake!! Now get lost!!", he said in annoyed voice while sitting straight. Virat frowns.

It was their normal occurrence!! Rohit sleeping till late and Virat waking him up before their mother reaches their room.

But Rohit's annoyance wasn't normal today and Virat noticed it.

Virat sighed and keeps his hand on Ro's shoulder.

"what's wrong? Nervous!?", Virat somehow always understand his brother's unsaid words without him conveying it.

Rohit just looks at him for few minutes before he rests his head on his shoulder.

"Weren't you during your marriage with Nush!?", he asked in return.

"It's normal!! But, why do I feel that there is something else going on in your mind as well!!", he was silent before Rohit answered.

"Our whole life, we have seen our family struggle!! Our father, left us and we were on roads the next morning!! We have seen MAHI BHAI struggling to feed us!! He grew up before his age just so that his family do not break!! I..am very afraid of commitment Vi!! What if something like this---"

"Hushh! Don't think about that and don't utter such nonsense!! Ro!! Look at me..here!!

How can you doubt on the sacredness of marriage!!? Rohit!! When two person separate, it is only because of the person! Mom still love that person even though he broke her in worst way. That is what we call as LOVE!! And look at me..look at Nush!! Aren't we both married and still so happy!! For us, each day brings us a new morning and we learn to love each other little more, to know each other little more!! Marriage is most sacred thing and love...love is most beautiful feeling!!", he sighed before continuing.

"Just because one person couldn't value this bond, couldn't protect the feeling, doesn't make the whole concept wrong!!"

"What if she fall out of love just like him?"

"Will you fall out of love for her!!", Rohit nodded in negative.

"just like that.. Ritika loves you too!! And she will protect this relation more than you!!"

"Thanks Vi!!", Rohit's doubt cleared and he smiles slightly.

"Now if you both are done, can the groom grace us with his presence?", their talk was interrupted by someone's entry but that entrant brought smile on their face.

"Bhai!!", Virat hugged him before moving aside so that Mahi Bhai can reach Rohit.

Mahi Bhai sat on the edge of the bed and smiles at him. He ruffled his hair.

"Ritika is a very nice girl Ro!! Trust her just like you have done till now!!", he said and Rohit nodded with shy face.

"Right Bhai!! Love is a beautiful feeling and hence, you also deserve that!!", Mahi looks at Virat confusingly on his sudden comment.

Rohit understanding the context smiles widely.

"Right Bhai!! Vi is absolutely correct!! Now, we all will be married in few hours and it's time, that you also settle down after finding a nice girl!!", Mahi just nodded his before standing up.

"It's not my age to get married Ro!! I am already 43!! Now, stop this topic!! mom has called you", he said and moves out while saying.

"Just come out when you are done!! There is some ritual which have to be done before you take shower!!"

"Bhai always leave whenever this topic arise!!", Rohit nodded.

"But I believe, there is someone for Bhai too!!", he added to which Virat nods.

"Now come!! Otherwise Mom won't spare me!!"

And soon, they move down to complete the ritual.

"No Mr. Singhania!! That tender will be beneficial. And I don't want it to go!! It will bring the share much higher. We will have great profit!!", Mahi was sitting on the couch with laptop.

"See Mr. Singhania!! I cannot come today. It's very important day for my brother!! Umm--", Mahi think for sometime.

"ok!! We can do one thing!! I will call Miss Rawat-- I mean one of our employees and she will do the needed. She is aware about this project! Believe me she will handle it just like I would have done!!", he said while pressing his phone in between his ear and shoulder.

He was reading some file when suddenly someone collide with him, this dropping the file.

"Oh!! I am so sorry Sir!!"

"Miss Rawat!!", He was confused finding her at his home.

He stood up straight while she collects the file and organise it before handing it back to Mahi.

"May I know what are you doing here Miss Rawat!!?"

"Sir---"
"I called her here Mahi!!", his mother answered and he just takes a deep breath.

"But why Mom! You know I don't like my employees coming at our home!! I don't like to mix personal and professional life!!

Miss Rawat!! You may go!!", he said without hearing anything, making Sakshi embarrassed.

Mahi's mother, Roshni, felt bad for her.

"Mahi!! What is this way to talk?", she asked in stern voice.

"Mom!! You should have asked before calling her. You know one thing I despise most is this!! Raichand Industries treats their employees like family, but Miss Rawat, that's until the time, you don't try to mend in our personal life!!

And anyway..if you are here now, I have work for you!! This is the file of Singhania project. You have to go now and give the presentation!! I don't want this tender to go out of our hand!! I hope I am clear!?"

"Ye..Yes Sir!!", Sakshi stuttered before turning around.

"Arrogant, Idiot, Khadus!! Why I am stuck here God!! I am getting yelled upon without my fault!!", she wiped her tears while muttering all this and moves out of there.

"I am not going to come here ever now!!", she said while sitting in the auto and glancing back once at the Mansion before the auto moves out of there.
"What does he even think of himself? Just scolded me out of nowhere!! Arree!! First give time to explain but no!! He needs to scold first.

"Ma'am? Are you okay?", the auto owner asked.

Sakshi looked at him and wiped her tears.
"I am fine Bhaiya!!", she answered and soon she reached the office.

"Mom!! I am sorry!! Please talk to me!!", Mahi was behind Roshni following her like a puppy.

"Mam!! Where should I put it?"

"Put it on my head!!", she said annoying and just asided the worker before moving away from there. Mahi sighs deeply.

"Why do you do this always Bhai!? Now, you need to pacify Mom once again!!"

Mahi just shakes his head.

"it won't happen if she stop doing these things!!", he answered.

"You know her concern Bhai!", Rohit answered.

"And That concern is totally futile!! Mom..Mom is dreaming about something that is impossible!!", They look at each other.

"What!? I am grown up Virat. 43 to be precise! Do you think I can't see what you guys are trying to do!!", he answered taking the flower and started decorating it himself.

"What are you talking about?", asked Virat innocently and beside him was Rohit who also stood with innocent expression.

"Go and get ready Rohit!! Marriage is today only!!", he said while looking at Rohit who just moves away from there with fast steps as he noticed the hidden warning in Mahi's tone. Virat followed the league.

"Mahi Bhaiya!! You leave it to me!! I will do it!!", came one of the employee of Mahi.

"Huh!! No Mohan!!  I will do it!! You look at other arrangement!! Guest must be arriving soon!!"

"Ok Bhaiya!!", Mahi smiles and started hanging the flower on the entrance. It was Ritika's favourite flowers along with Rohit's.

However, his mind wondered to different space.

"Miss Rawat!! I am promoting you!!"
"But Sir why? I mean..I am happy being your PA. I get to learn so many things!!", she replied in her usual cheerful tone.

"Because I want you to grow Miss Rawat!! You have lots of potential. And You showed this with your performance in our last project. And that's why I am transferring you to procurement department!!"

"But Sir!! I like it here!!", Mahi looks at her for few second. But that was enough for Sakshi to look down.

"Miss Rawat!! You will like there as well!! And you will learn many things there. I cannot think anyone else better than you for this department!!", said Mahi.

"But Sir---"

"You are dismissed Miss Rawat!!", Sakshi pouts and sighs. Before she moves out from there, she takes a last glance at her boss.

Mahi after realising that she is gone just lean back on his chair and looks at ceiling before closing his eyes tightly.

"Bhaiya!!", he comes out of the past and looks at one of the employees standing there.

"Haa Raghu!"

"Bhaiya!! Mam has asked you to get ready. We will do the rest Sir!! It's almost time!!", Mahi nodded and just moves out of there. However, he didn't saw his phone lying there on vibration which was buzzing continuously.

Sakshi, as usual had reached the address and moves inside the office.

"Excuse me!! I am Sakshi Rawat from Raichand Industries!!", she showed her card.

"oh yes Mam!! Sir is waiting for you in conference room!!", Sakshi nodded and just moves towards the conference room.

She enter inside to find it empty. But she sighed. It was usual occurrence.

Finally, Suraj Singhania, the owner of the project entered the cabin.

He looks at the girl. Clad in simple white suit and open hair, she was looking extremely beautiful. Ofcourse, Sakshi does not come to office with so much makeup and accessories. But, she was in this attire because she wanted to attain Rohit wedding. She sighed.

"Hello Miss Rawat..or should I say Sakshi!!", Sakshi looks at him and smiles slightly.

"Sakshi would do!!", he nodded and soon they were immersed in the project. Or should I say, Sakshi was immersed in explaining him the project while Rohan was busy staring her.

"What was this point again?", he said while intentionally keeping his hand on hers.

Sakshi feeling uncomfortable, just took out her hand and started explaining things.

"Now I know, why Raichand Industries is so successful?", he commented suddenly.

"Sorry!!"

"Ah!! They have such beautiful lady working in their company!! The person will agree to do project just by looking at pretty lady like you!!", He said leaning close to her making her uncomfortable.

Getting a very bad vibe, Sakshi stood up.

"I think I should go Mr. Singhania!! Sir will discuss the rest with you on phone!!", she said and started moving out from there, when Rohan clutched her hand.

"Why are you in hurry Sakshi!!? Lets spend sometime together, to know each other!! Coffee!?"

"No!! I...I need to go!!", she struggled to bring back her hand which he was clutching tightly.

"Leave my hand Mr. Singhania!!", she yelled forcing out her hand out of his hold.

"Sorry!! I don't leave things when I like them. Once I like it, it is destined to be mine!!", he said and just moves closer to her. Sakshi was scared. Not knowing what to do!! She looks around herself. However she didn't find anything to protect herself.

Finally she realise something. The one she was holding.

She wiped her tears and finally moves back to door!!

"C'mon!! It's not a big deal!! I will make you partner in this company!! We will rule the business world!!", Sakshi finally reached the door.

"Damn!! Mahi is so lucky to the pretty lady like you in his office!!". As he put her hand beside Sakshi caging her between him and the door.

Sakshi finally took out her pen and nibbed it harshly in his hand making him winced in pain while clutching it.

Everything happened in fraction of second, and Sakshi grabbing the opportunity opened the door and runs out.

"Stop!!", Rohan yelled while being in pain as well as angry at her. He runs behind her only making Sakshi run faster. She ran until she reached the road in same dishevel state.

She sat in the auto hurriedly while hiding herself fully. And Once, it departed Sakshi realised the gravity of the situation. She was about to be harassed. Looking back at the incident, a drop of tear falls down her eyes while her face was blank. She looks at the pen.

"Where do you want to go Madam!?", asked the auto owner.

"Huhh!?", she didn't know the answer. She lives alone because of her duty. But at this moment, she needs a companion. She was too scared to be alone at that moment.

"Ca..Can I make a call with your phone Bhaiya?", she asked wiping her tears.

The driver nodded and forwarded her his phone. Sakshi took it with shivering hand.

Somehow, she can only remember one person during this situation and so she dialled his number. However, her phone went unanswered.

"Mam!! Are you okay?", asked the driver looking at her with little concern.

"Ha..Yah!!", she said giving back his Mobile to him.

"Ah..Stop it nearby only!!", she said and just comes out of it once it stops.

She looks around herself and find noone. Finally, She takes fast stride towards her apartment. Finally, she hurried inside her room and closed the door before locking it. She closed every window and door before lay down. In fear and with contemplating mind, her eyes finally turned heavy before she fell asleep.

On this side,

"The marriage is done!! From nowon, you both are partners for life. Now, take blessings of all your elders present here!!", The rituals were done and finally Mahi heaved a sigh of relief. Feeling like a heavy burden has been lifted off his shoulder.

"Mahi!!", he felt hand on his shoulder which belonged to his mother. He clutched her hand.

"Finally!! My job is done here Maa!!", Roshni felt teary finding her son so relaxed after years.

"Mahi!!"

"I got what I worked for Maa!! They are famous cricketers and now well settled with love of their life. I never wished for anything less. Those smiles, that's what I worked for Ma!!", Roshni smiles and looks at Mahi before cupping his face.

"And now, it's your turn to settle down!!"

"Maa---"

"C'mon Mahi!! You wanted to build the empire, look after your brothers... even after I could have done that---"

"Maa", Mahi stopped her while making a face. "What rubbish are you talking?"

"Ok fine! Now will you get marry?"

"Ok!! We will look after that!! For now, I need to go!! We need to welcome them as well!! I will look after the preparation there!!", he said and rush away in order to avoid the further conversation.

"What should I do with this boy?"

"Let it be Ma! Bhaiya will understand once he accepts his feelings!!", said Anushka who heard their talk.

"I hope so!! He runs away from marriage. He runs away from his own feelings. He runs away from Sakshi's feelings as well!!"

"He is scared Mom!! You know how this society is!!

And he is afraid of that society. Society which never bothered to show you down in past as well!!", Anushka said holding her hands.

"Anu!! That was because that man was influential. He portrayed me as characterless and that's why all that happened. But now--

Now, circumstances are different. Society will look down upon you until you are weak. Once you are strong, noone can walk over you!!", Anushka nodded her head.

"You are right Mom. But Sakshi is not influential. She is a normal middle class girl. The age gap between them will be talk of the town. And they won't let Sakshi live!! Bhai is right at his place Mom!!", Roshni pondered on her words.

"We can just hope that their love turns out to be strong enough to overcome all these hesitation and difficulty", Roshni could just pray the same.

"Everything is done Mohan!"

"Yes Bhaiya!!

Ahh-- Bhaiya!! Your phone was ringing continuously. You left it on the sofa. I happen to see it!!", he said forwarding him the phone.

"Oh. I forget to take it!!"

"You always do!! Nothing new!!", Mahi raises his eyebrow hearing him who just smile in reply.

"Go and make the rangoli!!", he said shaking his head.

"Everyone orders me here!!", he matters while looking at his phone.

"Unknown number", Mahi frowns as there were many missed calls from the same number.

He finally called back.

"Hello!!"

"Hello!! Who is this? Actually, you had called me, but being unavailable, I couldn't take your call!!"

"I am Raju!! Who are you?"

"There were many calls from your number!;", Mahi stated.

"Oh!! It wasn't me!! It must be that girl who sat in my auto!! She may have forgotten her phone. So, she asked me for the phone!!"

"Girl!? Which girl?", Mahi got alarmed hearing his reply leaving the work he was doing sidewise.

"I don't know her name Sahab!! But she was crying. Her hand was shivering while taking my phone as well. Maybe she was scared!!", Mahi, with every information felt an unknown dread in his heart.

"May I know, what was she wearing?", he asked.

"Ah!! White dress--Suit Saheb!! I don't remember anything else!!", However, Mahi recognised the person with this information only and unknowingly wiped his face.

"ok thank you!!", he ran after hanging up.

"Mahi Bhaiya!!", Mohan called.

"Mohan!! Just...Just Look after it!! I needed to be somewhere!!", he said and just dashed away from there.

"But Bhaiya---", before he could have completed, Mahi was already gone.

With harsh driving, he finally reached the said address. He reached the door and just knocked it.

However, noone opened.
"Miss Rawat!!", he knocked.

"Miss Rawat open the door!!", he knocked harshly again, before the door finally opened to reveal Sakshi. Mahi breathed a sigh of relief.

"Miss Rawat!! Are you okay?", he asked.

Sakshi coming out of her haze just nodded.

"Sir!! You should ---", before she could continue, everything blurred and her head spin.

"Miss Rawat!", he holds her as she stumbled.

"Miss Rawat You are burning!! Are you ok?", Mahi was worried looking at her. What happened to her suddenly.

"I am fine Sir!! I.. it's just weather!!", though doubtful, still Mahi asided his thoughts and took her to her room.

"Sir!! You should go!! You have functions in your home!", she said while closing her eyes in order to avoid his gaze.

"Shut up Miss Rawat and tell me where is the first aid box. You must have pills right!?", Sakshi just nodded and took the medicine silently.

They were silent which was broken by Mahi phone ring.

"Excuse me!!"

"Hello Mom!!"

"Where are you Mahi? We have arrived here. Come fast. Rohit is looking for you!! And there is a ritual as well which only Groom's brother can do!!", Mahi looks at Sakshi who wasn't looking herself at all. But he can't avoid his duties even though his heart asked him for the same.

"Yah Maa!! I will be there in 20 minutes!!", he said and cut the call. Sakshi heard him but didn't react.

"I am fine Sir!! Please go!! They need you!!", she said looking into his eyes.

Mahi looked back at her and just nodded.

"Do call me if you need anything. I will keep my phone with myself only!!", Sakshi nodded.

Mahi turns to go but his heart which was thumping loudly forced him to look at her once more.

He found her looking somewhere while her hand was clutched in a tight grip.

He comes back towards her and stood infront of her.

"Sir?"

"Miss Rawat!! Come with me!"

"Huhh?" ,she raised her eyebrows.

"I said come with me!! You need someone in this condition!! Here you are alone.

Uh-- you are my employee and my employees are like my family. I can't leave you here to suffer!!

I would have done the same with anyone!!", he added making Sakshi smile slightly.

"Sir!!", he stops his rambling.

"You do not need to give clarification!! If you have asked me to follow you, I would have done without any word asked!!", she said looking in his eyes. And they shared an intense eye lock which Mahi broke while looking everywhere.

Mahi clears his throat. "I am waiting outside!!", he said and just went out. The two heart were beating the same rhythm but noone wanted to say out those beautiful lyrics..one in fear and other in rejection!!

It was almost an hour and Sakshi found herself standing outside the Mansion again. She looks at her boss.

"Sir?"

"Come!! I have to hurry!! They are waiting!!", avoiding her question, Mahi ran inside.

Sakshi chuckle looking at the way he went.
"When I think that he doesn't have any feeling, he again do something extraordinary for me, and make me questions my judgement!!

You go all the way to make me comfortable!! Is it just me or you are like this to everyone!!", she asked to noone. Sighing, she followed the path.

"Where were you Mahi?

Sakshi??", asked Roshni finding Sakshi following Mahi. She was in same clothes.

Everyone looks at Mahi who avoided their gaze.

"Woh..Maa!! She has high fever. That's why---"

"What? Are you okay Sakshi!!?", Sakshi smiles looking at their care.

"I am fine Aunty!!", she answered but her pale face didn't go unnoticed by anyone.

"Anu!! Take Sakshi to your room!! I will bring Kadha for her!! Call our doctor as well!!"

"But aunty ---"

"Go Sakshi and take rest Beta!!", Sakshi couldn't deny and just nodded before following Anushka.

"What happened to her?? Why does she looks so silent?"

"I don't know Maa!! But something has happened when she went to work!! Don't worry!! I will find the reason anyhow!!", he answered and just move inside while making a call.

"Mahi!! Perform this ritual and then you can do your work!!"

Mahi smiles and start doing whatever she asked. Here, Rohit and Ritika bend to take his blessings.

"Hey!!", he stops them midway.

"idiot!!", he said before hugging them both.

"Welcome to the family Ritika!! I hope we won't let you miss your home!!", she just smiles and hug him.

"I won't Bhai!! Because you are here!!", she said with smile after separating from the hug.

"Rohit!! Take care of her otherwise you will be punished by me before she punishes you!!", said Mahi making everyone chuckled while Rohit just pout.

"Yes Ro!! Bhai changes side very quickly!! Look how Nushki is his favourite now!!", Virat also pouts making Anushka shows her tongue at him.

All this was witnessed by Sakshi who was standing above. How she wanted to be a part of this family..to be part of Mahi's life. The man, who is such an amazing human, someone who caress every relation so religiously with so much care..how much he will love that girl who will be part of his life.
She sighed and move inside.

"Some dreams are meant to be broken", she murmured and just lay down.

Anushka who comes to her room finds Sakshi sleeping like a kid with the quilt wrapped tightly in her hand. She smiles and caress her hair.

"Little kid she is!!", she whispers but frown as she found her burning with fever.

"Sakshi!!", she shake her to wake her up which she did after few minutes.

"Nush!!"
"Haa! Are you ok Sakshi!!?"
"Please call my parents!!", she requested with teary eyes. She was feeling very alone suddenly.

"Sakshi!!"

"Please call them. I feel lonely!!", she said in kiddish voice making Anushka teary as well. Ofcourse, Parent are most integral part of anyone's life. And when the child is sick, only a parents looking after her can make them feel better.

"Mahi Bhai!!", she called him while sitting beside Sakshi comfortably taking her head in her lap rubbing her hair, trying to make her feel warm.

"Haa Nush!!", Mahi came almost running as he heard her yell.

"Do you have number of Sakshi's parents!? She is missing them terribly. She was almost crying!", Mahi pressed his lips.

"I don't have their number. Mahi looked at Sakshi and started searching beside her. His state wasn't better and Anushka noticed it as well.

"What are you looking for Bhai?", she asked atlast with confusion laced voice.

"Sakshi's mobile! We can call them from her phone!!"

"What did you call her?", asked Anushka little shocked.

"Sak---", Mahi's realised his slip of tongue and clear his throat.

"I mean Miss Rawat phone!!", he said and avoiding her again started searching for it.

"Bhai!! She wasn't with her phone here!! Maybe, she left it at her room!!", Mahi realised something.

"Oh no!! Sakshi left her mobile somewhere. That's why she was calling me from his mobile!!", Mahi rubbed his face.

"Mumma---", Sakshi murmured. Her face was red with fever.

"Where the hell is Dr. Rastogi?", he was angry and this side was new to Anushka as well.

"I will check again!", She said while moving away dialling their family doctor number.

Mahi looked at her to find her disturbed. He pressed his lips and finally remember something. He moves to kitchen not noticing stares he was getting. Taking a bowl and cloth, he rushed back to Anushka room.

"That's what I was saying!! He is too disturbed to enjoy anything!!", Anushka said who had joined the family few moments ago.

Here, Mahi sat on the edge and just pat her head.

"Miss Rawat!! Miss Rawat!! Are you ok?", he asked in soft voice while patting her head.

"Sir!?", she asked in hoarse voice.

"Yes!! You are safe Miss Rawat!! Are you ok?"

"Sir!! Please call Mumma!! I feel lonely!!", she murmured with close eyes missing her warmth too much.

"Miss Rawat"

"When he will come to call her Sakshi instead of Miss Rawat!? Their story is still at the same point!!", commented Ritika. There were eavesdropping. Oh!! Raichand enjoy this especially if it involves their bring brother.

"Bhai is in denial mode!! And I don't know when he will come out of this phase!!", answered Rohit sighing.

"Sir!!"

"I don't feel good!!"

"Ok!! Just sleep comfortably Miss Rawat!! Let me put this cloth on your forehead!! It will bring down your temperature!!", he said while putting clothes on her. Sakshi in the same hazy state looks at Mahi.

He was doing his work so religiously that he didn't notice her stare.

"Sir!!", her low voice catches his attention. He looks at her.

"Why do you behave so rude with me, when you are actually so good!!

The bestest one anyone can have!!", she murmured making him still.

"You are a good brother, good son..good boss.. actually best one!! You know the girl you will marry will be luckiest!!", she said smilingly. She didn't know how she got so much guts to utter those words.

"Only Khadus with me!!", she murmured in small voice making his eyes widen.

"I won't be Khadus with you unless you start behaving maturely Miss Rawat!!"

"I am not immature Sir!!"

"You are!! Look you got sick suddenly but still you are fighting with me!!", he said still keeping the clothes. He checked the temperature. It was little lower than before.

"Miss Rawat!! How did you got sick suddenly?", he asked making her stunned. But she composed herself immediately.

"Woh!! Sir!! Weather is changing. Maybe that's the reason!!", However, Mahi caught the little shift in her demeanor.

"Oh..ok!! By the way, how was the presentation?", he asked making her stunned again.

"Miss Rawat? Miss Rawat!?", she comes out of her thought by his voice.

"Are you ok?"

"Ya..Yah!! Sir!! I am ok now. You should go!", she said making him frown. He was now sure that something happened there.

"Miss Rawat? Something happened in the meeting?", he asked again little strictly.

"No..No sir!!", However, tear rolls down without her warning and she wiped it in order to not to worry him.

"Hey!! Look here!! What has happened there? I know you are not this!! Something has happened right?", he asked. His aura suddenly changing as his eyes turned soft as well as scary at the same time.

"Nothing happened Sir!!", she said again trying to control her tears.

"Sakshi!! Look at me!!", he finally called her by her name making her look at me.

"What has happened?"

"S...Sir!!", By now, she was sobbing looking down.

Mahi just move closer to her and pat her head while she just hugged him encircling her small arms around him making him stun.

He looks down to find her sobbing while his hands that were in air slowly comes down to pat her hair.

"Tell me Sakshi!! I am here!!"

"Mr. Singhania!! He..tried to..I was so scared. I didn't know..I tried your number", With her every word, Mahi eyes turned red. He was burning with anger.

"It was close!! I.. won't go to him again Sir!! Please!!"

"Hush!! Ok..you won't!! Now stop crying first!!", for time being, he composed his anger and everyone present there felt it too.

"I won't leave this Singhania!!", Virat said while turning to move out.

"Stop Stop!!", Rohit stopped him holding his shoulder.

"You are stopping me. I will kill that man!!"

"Let Mahi Bhai do that ok!? Virat!! Calm yourself and look at the situation. We will get to see what Bhai can do for her!!", Virat realised his word and just closed his eyes. It wasn't easy but at this instance, this one time, he left it to his brother.

"He is right!!", said Ritika.

"I feel we are responsible for this!! We should not have send Sakshi there at that time!!", Roshni said to which others nodded. Yes, they were at fault. Knowing that, world is full of vultures, they should not have send her there alone.

"Bhai!! Doctor is here!!", Mahi separated her from the hug and laid her down as she fell asleep.

"Anushka!! Look after her for time being!!", he said and everyone can see the anger oozing out his every feature.

He dashed out while dialling a number.

"Hardik!!"

"Mahi Bhai!?"

"Call everyone in the office. Organize an urgent meeting, except Miss Rawat!!", he said and cut the call.

"Why was Bhai so angry?", he murmured and did as said.

Here, Virat also got message and took out his phone. He stood up reading the message and this calls Hardik.

"Vi!! Why is Bhai so angry!! He has called an urgent meeting on Sunday. Can you believe that?"

"Go Harry!! It's about Sakshi!! You know it is serious otherwise Bhai wouldn't have called for it!!", Hardik nodded and just moves out after getting ready.

"What's happening there?", asked Rohit.

"Bhai was very angry!!", Ritika commented.

"True!! I feel bad for Singhania. He should not have mess with Bhai!!", Anushka said smilingly.

On other side...

"Why this meeting Sir? That's too, so urgently", asked one of the voice which belonged to non other than Rahul.

"just a minute!!", Mahi said when someone knocked the door.

"Mahi Bhai!! Here is the file you asked for!!", It was Suresh who forwarded him the file, Mahi's best friend along with one other, who was sitting grumpy on side.

"It has every detail of the Singhania Industries!! Why did you ask for it?", he asked.

"I want to buy 100% stake in this!! Do anything, I don't care. But find that loophole, which can take us closer to our target!!", The one who was sleepy till now was now sitting with wide eyes.
"I think he have gotten mad!! Are you hearing yourself Mahi!! Bring the whole business!! It's impossible!!", Said Yuvraj Singh to which Mahi bang the file on the table making everyone scared as they have hardly seen him so angry.

"Then make it possible!! But, I want to buy it!! I want to see that Singhania on road!!"

"Mahi!!"

"Please Yuvi!! You do not know what he did!! That man tried to force himself upon Sakshi!!", the room turned silent as he revealed the reason.

"How dare he?", It wasn't Mahi but Yuvraj who was blazing in fire this time. And as aggressive as he can get, he turns around to move out when Sonu stops him.

"Yuvi!! Sit calmly. And Mahi!! You too!!"

"Sonu!!"

"Sit!!", and Mahi couldn't deny his order.

"Guys!! Why don't you all go back home?

"No!! We want to know!! Sakshi is our family member as well!!", Deepak said feeling equally angry on the situation making Suresh sigh.

"Mahi!! Why are you so angry? Ok! He did wrong!! But doing wrong in turn of wrong, how can this be right!!

Our company has been known for honesty and integrity and we cannot loose that!!

"I don't care!! Sakshi is suffering there. She was in fever due to fear and you are talking about company reputation!!", Mahi asked angrily.

"First calm yourself!! And listen to me with open mind!! We can do something else as well Mahi!! Like teaching him lesson but not in this way!! He himself will ask for forgiveness to Sakshi!! I assure you that.ok?", Mahi wiped his forehead and just looked here and there before nodding. Sonu hugged him along with Yuvi.

"By the way, Sakshi huhh!?", they tease him making others chuckle.

"Shut up!! And you all... meeting is dismissed!! Go to your own desk!! Go!!", he dismissed them all. Mahi smiles. These are his people, his second family.

He moves out to his home.

He wasn't feeling like facing anyone at the moment and hence, he just moves to the beach. He sat down there looking at the sea silently.

Just like those waves, his mind was also in chaos.

"You are good brother, good son, good boss.. actually best one!! Sir!! The girl you will marry will be the luckiest one!" Those exact word repeating in his mind. And he remembered the incident. The incident that happened few months ago, which lead him to do the promotion of Sakshi so that she doesn't stay near him.

"Sakshi!! Are you mad? I mean I understand Sir is a good human. But..yaar look at his age as well!! He is good to crush upon but marriage. Don't you think it will be weird!?", he was going in his office but somewhere outside the door, a voice was heard which was coming from one of the rooms present there.

"Yaar Soha!! Love doesn't see age. It's just a number!!"

"Be practical Sakshi!! This seems good in movies only. Just think, when you will be 60, he will be 89!! When you will be 30, he will be 49!! How odd!! You are 23 he is 42! There is no match. See!! You are young, successful. You deserve much better!!"

Sakshi just shakes her head. Mahi was shocked.

"I love him Soha!! Love and you won't understand this feeling unless you have fallen in love!! It doesn't require condition. It just knows to give.

I don't even know what he feels for me and still I cannot stop falling for him. His every character attracts me. I admire him. And I also know that, my this feeling cannot be returned. I cannot do that!! That's why, I have kept it secret since so many days!! I don't know how Virat Sir found out and then his whole family!!"

"It's written on your face. Have you seen it when Sir enters. It like you have got some precious jewellery. And the smile you have stays there until Sir doesn't disappear behind the door. I am glad Sir hasn't found about your little secret yet, otherwise I don't know where you would have been!!", Sakshi pouts hearing her.

"Hmm!! I can't tell him..can I? Otherwise, everyone will call it infatuation or puppy love. I don't want anyone to ridicule my feelings!!", she said and smile.

On the other hand, Mahi just moves away to his cabin.

"What hint led Miss Rawat to this conclusion?", he wondered whereas Sakshi entered the cabin.

"Sir!! Good morning!!"

"Good morning Miss Rawat!! Um!! I am changing your department!!"

And the rest was history. With time, he started missing her chatter. Contrast to his character, she was a complete chatterbox.
And it wasn't late enough, when he realised that he also has something special for her in his heart.

"Miss Rawat!! I hope I made clear that these type of mistakes are not acceptable here. You are making silly mistakes in calculation. You know that can lead us to face huge loss!!", he said while slamming the file on her desk making her shudder in fear. Unknowingly, tears comes in her eyes.

"Correct them instead of wasting your tears. And check it again and again before bringing it to me!! I cannot be around you everytime to keep an eye on you!! I have other works as well!!", saying so, he just moves out of there.

Sakshi looks around her to find some of them gossiping and that made her feel embarrass. She just sat down and dipped herself in her work, determined to not make any mistake thereafter.

It was almost night when she was done. Everyone was gone except her.

She finally after checking it for infinite time, takes it to her boss.

"Yah!! I know market is in crisis but we can come out of that!! We will soon talk on this!!", he said signalling Sakshi to enter.

"Sir!! The file!", she gives it to him. Mahi checked it before signing it off and handing it back to her.

"Good night Sir!!", she said moving out.

Finally she wind up her things and moves out. Mahi who was looking at her form behind the glass just smiles.

"I am sorry!! But..you are dreaming about something impossible Miss Rawat!! The society won't let you leave. They will kill you with their words!! So, it's better that you destroy those feelings before it destroys you!!", he murmured and just leans back sighing in tiredness.

He knew everything and hence did everything to push her away from him. But it seems, his heart itself is not in his control now.

"I was ok without this feeling. Why now?", he asked to noone. However, he felt a hand on his shoulder only to find his both brothers standing there.

They were silent which was broken by Virat.
"Hardik shared whatever happened today!!", he started.

"Why were you so angry Bhai?", asked Rohit but got no answer in return.
