Chapter 1 ~Noticing Feelings~

•Lily's POv•
I woke up to the sound of my sister Dakota banging on my door.
"Lily get up, we have school" she said yelling

Me: YASS, c u in 5 minutes
Henry is bæ😎: K, c u soon

After that I put my phone in my bag and walked down the stairs. Dakota was eating pancakes and my mom was making coffee. I sit down and literally scarf down all my pancakes and orange juice. I wipe my mouth withy my napkin and stand up. I hear a knock at my door. I look through the window and see Henry standing there.

"Gotta go, Henry's here. Bye" I said to Lisa and my mom
"Bye sweetie, have fun" my mom said
"Yeah, have fun with your boyfriend" I heard Dakota say. I turned around and gave her a glare.

I walked out the door and smiled.
"Hey Hen" I said
"Hey , ready to go" he asked
"Yeah, lets go" I said. We walked to school and went to my locker.
"So Lily, what class do you have now?" Henry asked
"I have history with Ms. Shapen
"Same, lets go. We have 5 minutes to get to class" he said. We walked to class and we sat down next to Charlotte and Jasper.
"Hey Char" I said
"Hey Lily, hey Henry" she said smiling
"Hey Lily, hey Henry" Jasper said "Wanna hear about the cool new bucket I got yesterday?" He asked
"Um...sure?" I said as more of a question
"Ok, so... I got this huge bucket that has stripes and-"
"Class get out your textbooks" Ms.Shapen said.
"I'll finish telling you the story later" Jasper said as he turned around and took out his textbook.
"Ok" I said laughing. I looked at Charlotte and she was shaking her head laughing. Henry laughed along with Char and I and gave me a smile. I returned the smile and class went on.

After school Charlotte, Jasper, Henry, and I went to Henry's house. When we got there Piper was screaming her head off. She was on the phone with someone.

"I AM NOT OK" She screamed and slammed her phone down on the couch.
"Piper, if you're not careful enough your phone could break" Henry said
"Shut up Henry" she said as she grabbed her phone and stomped upstairs.
"Your sister is crazy" Jasper said
"Shhh" Charlotte said
"What?" Jasper asked
"She may hear you and attack you again" Henry said. I laughed and sat down on the couch.

"So what's everybody doing for Valentines Day?" Charlotte asked
"Well, I'm going to be the bouncer at Club Soda" Jasper said
"Cool, what are you doing Henry" I asked
"I'm asking Bianca to go to Club Soda with me. I already bought two tickets" He said smirking
"Snazzy" I said applauding him
"Wait, you haven't asked her yet" Charlotte said
"No, why" he said
"Henry! Girls like to be asked in advanced not a day before Valentine's Day" she said throwing her hands up. Henry looked at me and I nodded my head, agreeing with Charlotte.
"Um...I think I know how girls work" he said smirking
"Ok, as long as you know what your doing" Charlotte said
"I do" Henry said. I chuckled and took out my phone. I had a text from my mom.

Momma💕: Hey sweetie, I'm taking Dakota to the mall to get her a dress for Valentines Day tomorrow. I'll pick you up at 7:30. Stay at the Hart's till I come pick you up. Love you.

Me: Ok mom, c u when you get here

"Hey Henry, I have to stay here till 7:30. My mom doesn't want me to be home alone" I explained
"Ok, that's cool. My parents are out late anyways" he said
"Ok"
"Well I have to go home" Charlotte said leaving
"Same, my buckets get lonely" Jasper said leaving.

Henry and I sat down on the couch.

"So Lily. Who are you going to Club Soda with" Henry asked
"No one actually" I said
"Ok, anyways what do you wanna do" he asked
"I don't know, maybe we could go to the park" I said smiling
"Sure, let's go" he said. "Piper, Lily and I are going to the park" he screamed

•Henry's POV•
Lily and I walked to the park and sat down on the swings.

"Henry, how long have we known each other?" Lily asked
"Since we were 3" I said smiling
"Oh yeah, we've been on many adventures since then" she said laughing. God, I love her laugh. Wait! Did I just say that I like Lily's laugh. No, I like Bianca not Lily. I stared into her blue eyes and looked at her soft blonde hair and smiled. She's perfect. Just today I was ramblings about Bianca. But now, Lily? No,no,no I'm not liking Lily. She doesn't like me. We're just friends though. Plus, I kinda like Bianca.

"Yeah, remember that time when we fell in the mud in 2nd grade. The rain poured down on us so hard. But we didn't care" she said. "We were dancing in the rain" she finished
"That was a fun day" I said
"Well I wanna go on the slide" she said jumping off the swing and running towards the slide
"Come with me" she said. I got up and she sat between my legs. We went down the slide and hit a bump. We went flying towards the grass. I landed on the bottom and Lily fell on top of me. We looked into each others eyes and started leaning in. That is until she cleared her throat and got off of me.

"Sorry" she said as she helped me up
"It's fine, it was my fault" I said. She laughed and smiled.
"Let's go back to your house" she said
"Ok" I said. We stared walking. Lily looked so beautiful in the sunset. That's when I realized.
