After licking Namjoon enthusiastically, Jelly went over to Seokjin and started rubbing her face on Seokjin's knee. Seokjin was a little salty over the fact that Jelly went to Namjoon first, who was literally a stranger to her, but he couldn't refuse her belly rubs, so he scratched her side and belly.
"When did you all even buy the rings?" Namjoon asked.
"Don't underestimate us. We did everything in one day." Sun Jung said proudly.
Seokjin blinked, flabbergasted. Even Namjoon was impressed, though he wouldn't say anything.
"Congratulations, honey. I saw everything on TV. Jelly was also watching it with me." Ju-Won said, coming over to Namjoon for a hug.
"Did you know about this?" Namjoon asked, but still hugged him.
"They didn't tell me anything, I swear. You know that I can't keep secrets. I would have told you everything beforehand. So, they refused to tell me anything." Ju-Won said truthfully.
"But, did you know they were planning something?" Namjoon asked.
"I was a little suspicious." Ju-Won said.
"You should have told me, Dad. I could have been more careful." Namjoon sighed.
"I didn't want to tell you. I wanted them to succeed in whatever they were planning. And, they did it. You both are getting married in a week. I am so proud of your mothers." Ju-Won exclaimed.
Seo-Yeon and Sun Jung gave him a beaming smile and Namjoon looked at his father, betrayed.
"Ugh!! You all are so mean. I am going to sleep." Namjoon grumbled.
"Take Seokjin to the room next to you. And Seokjin, if you need something, just tell Namjoon or us. Don't hesitate." Sun Jung said.
"Sure." Seokjin said awkwardly.
Namjoon just rolled his eyes and motioned for Seokjin to follow him. He took Seokjin to the room next to him.
"This is your room. And like my mother said, if you need anything, just tell one of us." Namjoon said and went to his own room.
After freshening and changing, Namjoon was just getting ready for bed when a knock came on his door.
"Come in." Namjoon said, thinking who it was. And, he was very surprised to find it's Seokjin.
After hesitating a bit, Seokjin came inside. He offered Seokjin to sit on his bed while he took one of his chairs. Seokjin looked more naive in simple clothes. Namjoon was again reminded of the fact that just how different they were from each other. And, how Seokjin didn't belong with him at all.
Seokjin was shocked to find just how gentle Namjoon looked when he wasn't dressed like a cutthroat CEO. He looked so soft. So tranquil.
"Will you say something? Or will you just keep staring at me? I mean, I know I am beautiful and all. But, I want to sleep now if you are done gawking at me." Namjoon said, raising one of his eyebrows.
Seokjin flushed. And, he realized that even if Namjoon looked soft, he was very bold. He didn't shy away from saying something like Seokjin. This must be the reason why Seokjin's mother like Namjoon so much. Seokjin was sure that Namjoon would get along with his mother very well after marriage.
"Um..... I didn't want to disturb you now. But, I wanted to talk to you about something." Seokjin said timidly.
"Go on." Namjoon urged.
"My mother told me you live with your friends. And, I will also live with them after the wedding?" Seokjin didn't mean for it to sound like a question but, it just happened.
