Toge noticed that Yuuta had changed. Of course he did. Yuuta was his best friend, after all. They had spent everyday together. Doing the most mundane things. Trying to spend as much time as possible, regardless how busy their schedules were. But now something feels off but Toge can't put his finger on it. He's worried, of course. It's such a slight change he is almost too unsure to tell their other friends about it. How is he supposed to bring it up in a way that doesn't seem weird? How is he supposed to bring it up with Yuuta? "This one is a goodie", Yuuta mumbled and tipped on the iPad display, selecting another video to watch.

Toge nodded. He could tell that Yuuta wasn't himself, just by looking at him. "I think we need to buy groceries soon", Toge signed. Yuuta nodded. Well at least Yuuta is still eating. And somewhat functioning. That's what Toge hoped. He yelped when Yuuta pulled him even closer. He was about to ask about it when Yuuta spoke up first. "You would never hate me, would you?", he asked in a whisper. A thousand alarm bells went off in Toge's head. What? Toge shook his head. "What's the matter?", he asked. Yuuta shook his head. "It's nothing. The stress of it all is just getting to me", he explained.

Toge wasn't sure if he could really believe that but not wanting to push any boundaries he let it rest. Yuuta tightly gripped Toge in for an actual hug. This was not uncommon but their conversation made him worry. Toge really likes cuddling Yuuta. He was like a big bear. With a huge worry cloud over his head.

"I'm worried about Yuuta," Toge told his friends. Maki gave him a weird look. "Why?", she asked. "He's behaving weird. I know that he is a worryward but currently even more so than usual," Toge tried to explain. "Have you asked him about it?", Nobara asked. Toge shook his head."Not directly. I don't want to worry him more and he might feel stressed if I put him on the spot. I have told him that he can talk to me if he wants to. And of course that I won't judge him no matter what. I mean we are flatmates but also friends," Toge explained.

Nobara nodded. "Try to keep an eye on him," Maki said. Toge rolled his eyes. "Duh."

He just wanted Yuuta to be safe.

"Maki recently asked me if I was up for a spare," Yuuta said. Toge looked at him. "So?," he asked. "I dunno if it's a good idea," Yuuta mumbled. Toge put his chopsticks down and gently took Yuuta's hand into his. "Sometimes I think she hates me," Yuuta confessed. Toge shook his head. "She doesn't. I know she can be mean sometimes but she likes and cares for you,"  he assured. Yuuta gave him an unsure look.

"I'm being serious. We all like you," he signed. Yuuta only sighed. "I mean I can go. There's nothing wrong with trying," he relented. Toge smiled and continued to eat. "Do you want to watch something later?", Yuuta asked. Toge nodded. "In your room? I haven't been able to clean mine up yet", Yuuta mumbled. Toge nodded. "Not sure if my plushies will let you lay in my bed," Toge joked. Yuuta snorted. "I need to defend my territory."

Once in his room both of them laid in their normal position which would be Yuuta against Toge's huge pillows. Toge between his legs with his back against his chest. He would be lying if he said that their relationship didn't change these last few weeks. They have been friends ever since they became roommates almost a year ago but lately... Toge always found that Yuuta looked good. That he was attractive. He made no secret about it too. Telling him that multiple times ever since moving in together (most of them drunk but that's besides the point).
