MINISTRY OF MAGIC CALLS FOR VOLUNTEER EDUCATIONAL ADVISERS FOR HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY TERM
Written by: Barnabas Cuffe
Date: Wednesday, 31st August 1977
Issued By: Senior Undersecretary to the Minister, Bartemius Crouch Sr.
In response to the vastly increasing interest regarding the standards of magical education under Albus Dumbledore, the Ministry of Magic are united in their decision to form a group of Educational Advisers tasked with overseeing this upcoming educational term.
In recent months, the leadership and character of Albus Dumbledore (Defeater of Dark Wizard Gellert Grindelwald, Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot, Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards, and Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry) has been placed under both public and professional scrutiny in regards to his 'immoral' teaching and leadership methods which have been said to have now 'corrupted the poor young minds of Hogwarts.'
A brand new title issued by the Department of Magical Education, a modest group of prominent witches and wizards of magical society have both volunteered and have been approved for this advisory team by Minister Eugenia Jenkins herself. Middle-level bureaucrat Dolores Umbridge has been assigned as Group Leader.
However, other members shall be disclosed to the public only when they have settled and began their assessments. This is due to Ministry warnings of illegal coordination and risk of lack of neutrality regarding Dumbledore and his 'alleged' behaviour.
These assessments have been approved by The Ministry of Education and Hogwarts Governors, and include but are not limited to: curriculum reviews and changes, teaching observations and changes, student welfare considerations, the evaluation of extracurricular activities and changes, and overall attitudes to learning.
When asked for a statement, Bartemius Crouch Sr., Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic, stated that "these regulations are at the very core of a young witch or wizard's magical education. I hope that the concerned sectors of our community are now ensured of the consistent upkeep of sacred magical traditions in which the wizarding world holds so dear, especially in such uncertain times, and in historical institutions such as Hogwarts School."
In relation to his statement, many prominent and influential figures have come forward with their own anxieties in regards to the leadership of Albus Dumbledore, and some have even gone as far as to accuse him of 'polluting young minds' with ideals most now see as' traitorous' due to changing public opinions.
Druella Black, Matriarch of the House of Rosier and wife of Cygnus Black, informed us that she is "worried dearly for the future of wizarding kind, and I hope that the likes of corruption and scandal can now be avoided in our children's minds. They are the future of a revered wizarding society. It is their responsibility to maintain unbridled and pure ideals without the temptation of corruption, especially in those who they are instructed to look upon for moral guidance."

When asked about the accusations, Albus Dumbledore chose not to deliver a public statement at this time.
