"Are you sure it's not to short..." I ask my bestfriend. "It's not short, it's just isn't long" Launa Tritan replies pulling my dress if a little, Launa is super good in fashion, I don't like dresses in fact I hate them, but it's a formal f1 dinner and all the drivers are going to be there. I've been friends with Launa since my whole life, My friend Lauren passed last year and we were very good friends with her, me especially. Rachell was also in our friend group but she is currently in South Africa busy with her University studies. I always wanted to race in South Africa, it's such a beautiful country. "Have fun sadez!" Launa says giving me a hug and I nod. I haven't talked toMartin since the 'inchident' last week...
"Sarah Alison Taylor Helena Leclerc! How dare you not greet me" a certain Australian driver with the biggest smile ever screams as I enter the building, now everyone is looking at me "Shut up Danny!" I whisper scream putting a hand over his mouth which he licks "You're disgusting" I say wiping my hand on my dress while he laughs "How are you Sadez?" Daniel Ricciardo asks giving me a hug. "Eh, okay" I shrug "You're to much like Kimi" Danny replies with a chuckle. Kimi, Kimi Raikkonen the driver I looked up to since I was a kid, I was hell lucky for him to be my mentor, but he's almost like family to me "There she is!" Oliver bearman and Jack Doohan says before they both give me a hug "Get off" I growl pushing them away "You know I don't like hugs" I reply shoving my finger into their chests "but you gave Daniel an hu-" Jack starts "He is special" I say with a grin "Hah! You heard that I'm special" Danny says screaming and I just roll my eyes.
"Du du du du" I scream as I see Max Verstappen approaching us, he rolls his eyes at me before giving me a hug "Hi Sar, long time no see?" Maxie says releasing the hug "Max I saw you two weeks ago" I say with a chuckle. "How's Vic?" I ask him "She's good, the kids are keeping her busy" he awnsers taking two champagne glasses from a tray an driving one to me "You still need to introduce me to P" I say, I love kids, especially the snarky one's. "Yeah, I will" he says with a smile, there might be an 8 year age gap between me and max, but that doesn't mean anything, we're very good friends. "Ready for the season?" He asks and I nod "hows your ankle?" He asks pointing to my right ankle, I sprained it in the sim, don't ask me how I did it because I don't even know. "Eh, it's okay" I reply and he nods "There is my vilaine soeur" Charles says walking towards us with Lando Norris I roll my eyes and throw him a middle finger "I can say the same thing for you Perceval" I say giving him a death stare while hugging Lando. "I can't believe your already 18" Lando says and I roll my eyes. "We better take our seats before the old people start complaining" I say referring to the team principles and dragging max with me to take a seat next to me, Charles, Carlos, Oscar Piastri and Lando are sitting at the same tables with us. I made sure to sit across from Lando and next to Max so that me and Lando can chat and do something when we're bored.
"Finally that took forever" I say as I step outside of the building with Ollie "Well you and Lando were gossiping the whole time, so I couldn't even pay attention" he replies "we weren't at the same table... " "Exactly" he points outs while I take off my heels "any plans?" I ask him and he shakes his heads "you?" "Nope, not what I can think of..." "Remember grill the grid is tomorrow" Christian Horner says patting my back and I roll my eyes "I cant I'm *cough cough* sick" I reply and he rolls his eyes "Goodbye Sarah" "See ya Horner" I say waving at him.
