So you're probably wondering. How did I become the one and only Rover Dangerfield? The very handsome and dashing dog you see today. You wanna know? I see... Well might I tell you, cause it's one hell of a long story.
Nothing other than the starry night sky showed itself. It was exactly 9:30 pm mountain time and the moon was shining like a bright heavenly glow as it shined down onto the stunning yet still brightly colored city of Phoenix, Arizona. Some people were still wandering around the city either looking for sights to see, a place to eat, a hotel to stay and relax, and vice versa, even somewhere to party if they're really in the mood, the choice was theirs after all.
Other people on the other hand locked up shop or left work to head home, ready to hit the hay for the night as the city somewhat began to wind down. Despite that, the city itself and its suburbs would only be seen ever so briefly, on the outskirts of the city a fancy looking black van could be seen driving down the road passing by houses and buildings of different qualities when it comes to presentation. Some run down houses and businesses could be seen that had been either boarded up or ransacked. This was all accompanied by the dimly lit street lights which lit up the road like they were supposed to. However some of them just didn't work at all which wasn't a big deal to the male driver who drove the black van.
Music was playing from the radio through the speakers as he briefly looked at a GPS built into the van, it showed directions leading towards another city which was 4 hours away from Phoenix, that city being Las Vegas, Nevada. In the back of the van was a group of dogs all being in their own cages as they were being transported by said van to somewhere in Las Vegas, most likely a dog pound or animal shelter. But out of all the dogs in the van, one dog would be the closest to getting the award for the most annoying.
The annoying dog in question was a male terrier with black fur, brown eyes, a black nose, and lastly a white dog collar around his neck that had no name tag or charm attached to it. He was telling repetitive jokes to another dog next to him, a bulldog with gray fur, brown eyes, a black nose, and finally a blue dog collar that, unlike the terrier's collar, had a blueberry charm attached to it. The bulldog was laying down and heavily annoyed at the terrier.
"So there was this cat and he went to a bar alright? He got himself a milkshake and..." The terrier said, attempting to make a joke.
However the bulldog had a face of annoyance, his reaction made it clear he'd been hearing jokes from the same dog for a while now and none of them sounded funny or original in the slightest. This one being no exception as he growled at the terrier now being fed up with it. "Will you shut up! Your jokes are as rough as the gravel road we've been on previously. Is there something in your brain that is slightly funnier?" The bulldog responds in frustration, completely done with the terrier's lame attempts at humor.
