Frost's gift began to show itself one chilly afternoon when a little girl named Laci wandered too far from home while playing in the snow. The sky had turned a pale grey, and the wind started to howl, carrying flurries that quickly erased her footprints. Lost and scared, Laci called out, but her voice was swallowed by the wind. Back at the cottage, Frost's ears perked up. Without hesitation, he darted out the door, following a path only he could sense. His tiny paws barely made a sound as he raced through the snow, his heart guiding him like a compass. And just when Laci thought all hope was lost, she saw a flash of white and felt the warmth of a familiar nuzzle on her hand. Frost had found her, and with gentle nudges, he led her safely back home. From that day on, the villagers began to notice that Frost had a way of being exactly where he was needed, at exactly the right time.
