✯ Crush, Chop & Burn, Part 3 ✯

Alexandria's POV:

The next day. We were all in the lab watching Chase pacing and grabbing stuff and putting it into a box. Bree and Leo were sitting on the counter. I was walking over to where Adam is to sit on the counter beside him till he pulled me onto his lab and put the bowl of nuts  on my lap. I was blushing but relaxed into his arm and watched Chase.

"What are you doing?" Leo asks.

"If Davenport is gonna ship us off to some remote facility. Then the office supplies are coming with us" He explains putting more stuff in the box.

"We just got our first taste of normal. I was close to getting a curfew which I was so totally gonna break" Bree says with a tint of sadness in her voice.

"Ohh! But maybe when we get to wherever we're going, we'll meet a sassy lab chimp named Bobo. Who will take us on adventures and teach us how to love" He says excited and picks more of the nuts out of the bowl in my lap, I'm also eating.

"Or maybe you'll make angry and he'll maul you and snack on your fingers" Chase mocks him. Adam then taps my thigh signaling to get off him, so I do. "Hey! I create the monkey fantasies around here" Adam exclaims while pointing a finger at Chase. I laugh quietly and shake my head.

Eddy then appears on the screen. "Well kids, hope you've enjoyed your stay at casa Davenport. I know I haven't Sayonara!"

"Eddy, I know we've never been the best of friends, but we're gonna miss you" Bree states.

"Oh, Really?" Eddy says.

"No" Adam says still eating from his bowl.

"We hate you!" Bree says

"Your evil" Chase says

"Where is this training facility anyway?" Leo asks and I nodded agreeing with him and curious.

"Facility X? Oh, it's all the rage" Eddy says showing an island on the screen for us to see. "That's pretty nice" Chase says. "Opps! Sorry! That's my screen saver. You're going here." Eddy says now showing Antarctica.

"Forget about office supplies. We should be gathering wood" Chase states. I walk closer to them while being on my phone because Tasha took Axel and Loki to the groomers for me and I was checking in to see when I have to pick him up.

"Man. I wish I hadn't thrown that party. I can't help but think this is all my fault" Leo says with sadness etched into his voice. "Oh, that's because it is all your fault" Adam states honestly. "Adam!" Bree and I hissed.

"He was only trying to help us" Bree says to Adam defending Leo. "Well, yeah, but he did the opposite, which is not help us. The not makes it the opposite" Adam says to everyone. " I'm just so bummed. It's the only place we've ever known."

"Yeah. Just think about all the memories we've shared here" Chase says and looks up to remember.

" I can't let Davenport send you guys away. Let me talk to him. No one can say no to this million-dollar smile" Leo says smiling at all of us. They look at each other and I see a lot of hope in their eyes. "Everyone says no to his smile guys, I'm sorry but there is an off chance" I state staring at the ground bummed out because the reality of the situation is hitting me.

Leo comes down and the teens look at him expectantly. "Well.. I'm pretty sure he's gonna think about it" The teens jump up and down and Adam comes and hugs me lifting off the ground. I got a text on my phone and it's the groomers letting me know Axel and Loki are ready to be picked up now.

"I really hate to ruin the moment but I have to pick up Loki and Ax. I'll be back in like 20 minutes I'll be so quick I promise" I said shyly and Adam look at me and said "Can I come I want to say goodbye" I look at him with sadness written on my face "Of course..., Adam" Adam and I walk towards the elevator and go upstairs.
