Y/n's house

Y/n let out a groan as she searched her room. "Broo where the fuck is my shit" Y/n cursed under her breath. She took a deep breath and sat down on the floor.

Y/n had lost this bracelet that her Elijah had given her when they first started dating. Y/n's room was a mess, that bracelet meant a lot to her. "The last place I had my bracelet was on my desk, what the hell" Y/n groaned as she put her head in her hands.

"You know what I don't have time for this" Y/n whispered to herself as she got up and started cleaning her room.

(Y/n's pov)

I sadly sigh to myself and think, 'how the fuck did I lose my bracelet' while I stare into space on my bed. I quickly snapped back into reality after I heard a loud ping from my phone.

I pick up my phone, and look at my phone to see I got a text from my baby. I opened my phone and look at the message he sent me.

You getting ready?

The text read. "Oh shit" I gasp. I really forgot I had a date with Elijah today, I was to busy looking for my bracelet. I quickly text him back, and hop in the shower.

Thirty minutes later, I get out the shower feeling great. I needed that shower to relax my mind. I walk to my dresser to pick out an outfit. I knew it was cold outside so I just picked out my navy blue polo tracksuit, with my red Jordan 4's.  I lotion up myself and put on my clothes.

'My hair looks fine I guess' I think before putting on some random beanie that matches my outfit. I sit on my bed and scroll on my phone waiting for Elijah to pick me up.

After a while I got bored of my phone. I stare in my face thinking about how imma tell Eli about the bracelet, that shit really means a lot to both of us. I walk out my room and walk to my kitchen still deep in my thoughts. I grab a fruit snack off the top of my fridge, and walk back to my room.

As I'm eating my fruit snack I receive a text from Elijah telling me he's in front of my building. I grab my keys and walk out my door locking it. I walk down the stairs to be met with a smiling Elijah. He looked so cute to me.

(Elijah's pov)

As I look up from my phone I see Y/n walking up to me with a sexy ass smile on her face. I quickly pull her into my body wrapping my arms around her waist. "How you been baby?" I ask her a small smile forming on my face. "I've been alright lately, I've been missing you though" Y/n said to me as she prepped a kiss on my lips.

We stayed in the apartment courtyard for a while just talking and laughing, but I noticed something was off about Y/n, but I just brushed it off. "You ready to go?" I asked Y/n looking at her, as I held her hand and put it in my jacket pocket. "Yeah we can leave now" she whispered back to me.

We leave Y/n's apartment and walk outside. "Where are we going?" Y/n asked me as we walked down the block. I look at Y/n for a second then reply back "It's a surprise" making her reply in an eye roll.

We continue to walk down the street, we were just talking, laughing, catching up, and basically doing everything under the sun.

(Y/n's pov)

I look around to see that my boyfriend took me to some nice ass park. The sun was almost down, so the sky was a mix of orange and dark blue. We walk to the playground, and sit on the swings. It was so peaceful, because it was just us.

"I appreciate you for taking me out tonight" I admit to Elijah as I gave him a soft smile. "Nah baby, I appreciate you for being my girlfriend, even after all the shit we've been through" Elijah professed to me, as he shifted from his swing to place a kiss on my lips.

"I love you Elijah" I expressed to him. "I love you too" Elijah whispered back to me.

We continued to chat it up for hours. I still couldn't shake the guilt of loosing the bracelet Elijah gave to me off my mind. I continued to talk to him hoping he wouldn't notice that I wasn't moving kind of weird.

"Yo Baby you good? You're moving different" Elijah asked me with genuine concern in his voice. I really couldn't lie to him, so I got ready to tell him what happened.

"Eli I'm so sorry but I lost the bracelet you gave me when we first got together" Y/n apologized to the boy, hoping he wouldn't be mad at me. For what felt like moments Elijah just looked at me. I thought he was processing what I had said to him.

"You're upset over that Ma? Don't worry" Elijah said to me letting out a small laugh, as he lifted my head up. I saw him dig in his sweatpants pocket, and saw him pull out a small box.

He lifted the cover off the box and smirked at me. "You talking about this bracelet bae?" I looked at him in disbelief. "How the fuck..?" I ask the boy, making him laugh at me.

"When I was at your house a few days ago I took ya bracelet, and went some place to add a matching charm to it, like mine" He replied back to me as he held up his wrist to show me a bracelet that looked exactly like the one he had in the box.

"You jackass" I say to the boy before putting the bracelet on my wrist, and then I start laughing. "Im lucky to have a boyfriend like you" I purred to the boy as I get up, go behind him and wrap my arms around his neck.

"So baby, where's my reward for finding your stuff?" Elijah shamelessly flirted at me, turning his neck to face me, with a little sly ass grin on his face appeared. "Your reward is right here" I coo back to the boy, as I prep kisses all over his sexy ass face.
