"But I see her
In the back of my mind
all the time"
-Wildflower (Billie Eilish)
——-So apparently Derek told Scott to go back to the bus and he'll see what happened that night. "Yeah, count me out. I have an AP calculus exam tomorrow and I can't fail it." Stiles rolled his eyes that the girl, "You know you would pass it without even trying."
"But, I don't want to just pass it. I want to ace it." Scott dragged the boy by the hoodie back as they exited the girls room. Bianka chuckles at seeing Stiles's face being dragged out of her room.
About an hour into studying, a blow of air pushed her hair back. She turned her head towards the balcony door that was now open. She huffed as she got up from her comfortable bed to close the clear doors. As she turned around she came face to face with Derek. "Oh my God, stop doing that." She spoke as she hit the boys chest lightly. "Come on, let's go for a drive." Derek spoke as he opened her balcony doors and hopped down effortlessly and landed on the ground. "Derek, we're two stories up. I'm not jumping down." She spoke softly, knowing that the man would still be able to hear her. "Just trust me." Derek slightly pleaded with the girl from the ground. Still, she stayed in place.
He rolled his eyes and motioned with his hands for her to jump. The girl sighed before trust falling off of the platform to be caught in a pair of strong arms, bridal style. Bianka's breath hitched at the close proximity of the two as they gazed into each other's eyes. Her hands rested on his chest as she felt a powerful energy under her fingertips. Carefully, Derek placed the girl on her feel.
"See, told you I'd catch you." He whispered softly near her ear making Bianka roll her eyes playfully. "Whatever, where are we going?"
"I want to show you something." Derek spoke without reveling his full intentions as he opened the passenger door open for the girl. Bianka slid into the car and admired the sleek interior of the vehicle. "Hm, my Impala's better." Derek's eyebrows furrowed at the brunette, "No, it isn't."
"Yes, she is. She's a classic beauty." She shrugged as Derek smiled at the girls love for her car.
About 10 minutes of cruising in Derek's car her breath hitched as Beacon Bridge came into view. "Derek, I can't be here." Bianka shook her head as the memory of her birth parents dying clouded her mind. "Bianka, this is where we need to be so I can show you this...I want to tell you the truth on what happened that night." Derek spoke as he pulled his car over just before reaching the bridge. Bianka hadn't been back in this area since the accident and she vowed that she would never step foot near it, but here she was.
Something was always off about the accident. It was a regular day. No rain, no snow, no ice, so how did the car go off the bridge?
Bianka gulped as she opened the passenger door, Derek was immediately by her side as they began to walk to the middle of the bridge. "It's okay. I'm here, Bianka. Nothing bad is going to happen." The wolf reassured her as they came to a stop. Derek stood in front of her as she starred at the water over the railing. "What happened that night and do we have to be here so you can tell me?" Her voice cracked slightly at the trama that the bridge caused her. "Because it's easier if I show you." Bianka's eyebrows furrowed at the statement.
