Niklaus and Henrik had wanted to sneak out and watch the werewolves turn into the beasts, even though it's forbidden. Rebekah had caught them and that's the very short story without the fighting of how she tagged with them.
That was the biggest mistake.
The trio had found the 'best' hiding place, behind the bush to watch the people they call friends, breaking every single bone in their bodies. When it started, Rebekah was horrifed, oh the poor people, all that pain. Klaus watched closely as Henrik looked around, feeling like something bad was going to happen.
He was right, a werewolf saw them and jumped to them. "Henrik!" Niklaus yelled, then. Rebekah threw a stone at the wolf, it turnt to her, growling. She gulped and rushed to Henrik, the wolf growled more. Then it happened.

Rebekah's chest was bleeding out, she fell back as the boys watched in horror, the wolf looked to Henrik before pulling his leg, to get the boy over, Niklaus was too scared to help as he watched helpless. But the wolf's ears peaked up hearing his pack call and it ran off.
Hours felt like years as night sliped to day, the boys were so relieved to see the light peak through the trees, they had to look at their sister's dead body and it hurt them so much. Klaus careful picked up the bodies of his sister up and started walking to the village.
Kol was in the house, staring at the necklace before going to touch it but it burning him. He turned to Ayana and frowned. "That wasn't yours to touch sweetie." Seeing his sad face she sighed. "I'm sure your slibings are fine." She ressured him.
"Mother!" Niklaus' voice rang out and Kol rushed out and froze seeing the sight. Niklaus carrying a body. Then it hit him. Rebekah. Esther rushed over before she knelt down, checking her, as Niklaus put the body down as Elijah ran over and froze. "Oh my God."
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry.." Nik repeated over and over, he was mean't to keep his sister safe. "We must save them, please. There must be a way!" Esther trembled, looking at her child as Ayana touched the girls hand hands.
"The spirits will not give us a way, Esther. Your child is gone." Tears fell down all the faces there as Ayana lifed the cloak over her head.
And that was one of the last moments the family had together as a family. As that night the brothers all had be turned into blood sucking creatures. Vampires.
They forever missed their slibings, all changing over the years. Well Finn was in a box. But Elijah decided from that moment he would protect his family untill he dies. Niklaus became Klaus, killing and murdering people left and right. Kol became pretty much the same as Klaus but not as known.
Mikael chased them down for their long vampire lives, he always blamed the boy for the deaths of his daugher, he lost both daughters he got. And Klaus blamed himself too.
But centries in the future. A girl was born, Faye Forbes. Faye was the same age as Caroline. You'd think the two are twins, but they aren't. You also must be wondering how the Rebekah got reborn.
Well, Esther didn't only have Dahlia but another sister who they both thought was dead, but you wouldn't believe. She wasn't but badly hurt. Now this woman was called Freya. Esther had named her first child after her younger sister.
Now Freya found a husband, had children and the Mikaelson line went on, now 1000 years later the ancestors of the witch line had come to a agreement to let the kid have a second chance. So a descendant of the line, 1000 years in the future had a girl, Faye. But when Faye was 2, her parents were murdered by a serial killer that was in Mystic falls. And before you ask, no it wasn't Stefan or Damon. It was a human killer.
But Damon did find her, so oddly enough for someone who didn't care about anyone he took the baby in but when he met Liz Forbes he choose to let her take the girl. He was a vampire, he couldn't take the girl in, neither could Stefan. Who was shocked seeing Damon playing with a baby when he got home. But they did watch over her over the years when they visted.
And now it's been 2 years since the Salvatore brothers came into Mystic Falls, now staying. So they got the chances to get to know her. Which is how Faye manged to get into supernatural stuff.
Elijah is rolling into town, he only came for the said deal with Rose and Trevor and ended up with news of another doppelganger and a teenager that look like his dead slibing.
