The bell of the school rings getting me out of my thoughts. Today i decided to pick up my nephew since my sister got stuck in a meeting. And her husband was out of town. So being the good uncle i am, i decided to go pick up Leo. The kids come out and parents pick them up. But i don't see Leo. I walk closer to the door and suddenly i assume his teacher walks him out.

"Uncle Y/N" Leo says spotting me and waving. His teacher looking up at me and smiling. She's quite beautiful might I say.

"Hi i'm Ms. Olsen" Ms. Olsen outstretches her hand I quickly shake her hand.

"Y/n Garcia"

Me and Leo walk back to my car after having a chat with his teacher. I start asking questions because Tiffany told me his teacher was a brunette and was middle aged. Now this woman Leo walked out with was young and blonde.

"So Leo was that your teacher or" I ask him as i buckle him up. He shakes his head.

"My my teacher left she um" Leo begins to say. "Ms. Olsen is another um teacher" i nod and ruffle his hair. Maybe she's some sub or assistant teacher.

As the week goes by I go pick up Leo as usual. A earn the courage to talk to Ms.Olsen. Just casually stuff because obviously we have to act professional.

Until one day, the front desk, Layla comes in telling me he has a personal on the phone. So i pick up:

"Hello?"

"Um hi, Y/n?" Its her voice.

"Ms. Olsen, is there anything i can help you with" She giggles, and my heart skips a beat. Y/n stop act professional.

"Please call me Lizzie" She softly says. "I um called because you were under emergency contact. Leo sorta had an accident" i sit up on my seat worried.

"Is her okay? Is he injured" I start gathering my things.

"Oh no no he is okay" Lizzie quickly says. "He um had an accident and wet his pants. He just ran out of spare pants. If you can either pick him up or bring him some clothes to change" i sigh in relief hearing he is alright.

"Y/n?" Oh yeah right.

"Sorry um i'll stop by with some clothes" I quickly write in a sticky note where i left off in the file.

"We will be waiting for you here then" I thank her for the call and head out. I walk into the school and they take me to nurses office, where indeed Lizzie and Leo were waiting.

"Hey buddy" Leo runs to me and i can tell hid accident. "What's wrong buddy you been good with using the bathroom" I take him to the bathroom in the nurses room and change him. Making sure go clean him well before we exit the nurse takes him back to class.

"Um y/n a question" I turn around as I dry my hands with some paper towel.

"Yeah ask away"

"Um i know its not my business but, ever since you told me that his parents have been gone." She fiddle's with her rings as she speaks. None of them look like an engagement or wedding ring. Y/n focus god damn. "Maybe Leo's act of change is because he is missing them."

"Oh yeah, i noticed it too. I was the same" I force a smile but then i freeze. "I-i mean not wetting my pants. Like mood change when i was little. I mean i" i mentally slap myself for the words that came out.

"I understand what you meant" She giggles, she covers her mouth as she does. We stare at each other for a minute before she clears her throat. God Y/n you're staring. I look away and clear my throat as well.
