The walk with Snape to the headmaster's office was something—Elwia didn't know what, but truly, it was something. Snape had a fun way of making his long cloak flow in the air every time they took a sharp turn; he was so dramatic.

They arrived at a spiral staircase that had a griffin statue guarding it. Snape directed Elwia with his hand to go stand on the beginning of the staircase, and after that, he came to stand beside her. There was a small silence; it lasted for about 15 seconds.

"Acid pops," Snape said monotonously.

"Excuse me?" Elwia mumbled with frowned brows.

Snape pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed loudly as the staircase started moving upwards like an elevator.

"Oh, acid pops was the password." Elwia said, feeling embarrassed.

"Indeed." Snape muttered.

"You couldn't remember it at first? Is that why it took you so long to say it?" Elwia asked nonchalantly.

"Just like your damn father..." Snape mumbled but not loud enough for Elwia to understand.

There was now another door in front of them, but this time Elwia could hear muffled shouts coming from behind the door. One of the voices shouting sounded very familiar; it almost sounded like Elwia's mother. Snape opened the door, and she was correct. The view that laid ahead of her consisted of Elwia's mother yelling at everyone in the room, a calm-looking Dumbledore, amused Lupin, and a smirking man Elwia hadn't seen before. The man had dark, shoulder-length wavy hair and very fashionable clothes.

"Ah, Severus and Elwia. How good of you to come." Dumbledore smiled and stood up.

Snape nodded his head at Dumbledore.

"Snape." the man with dark, wavy hair says with a firm nod.

"Black." Snape said with a face full of disgust.

Oh, that man was Sirius Black, Harry's godfather. What was he doing here?

"Uhm, why did you want me here? I was kind of in the middle of something." Elwia interrupted everyone and slowly walked up to her mother.

"Elwia, my girl. I'm sorry," Apolline said and hugged her sweet child..

"What are you talking about?" Elwia mumbled, and noticed that almost everyone in the room was now looking at her.

Everyone had a different expression; Apolline looked worried, Lupin was gently smiling as always, Snape looked to be deep in thought, Dumbledore was just weird, and Sirius' gaze was plaintive.

"Why am I here?" Elwia asked again, more annoyed and overwhelmed this time.

"I fear we have been keeping this secret from you for too long." Dumbledore sighed and put candy in his mouth.

Elwia looked at Dumbledore, baffled. Her eye was twitching; was he going to continue his sentence, or what the fuck was going on?

"Please, it's better that she does not know yet." Apolline yammered.

"Apolline, you can't shield her forever. Elwia needs to know." Sirius said with an assuring tone.

"Right now, not knowing can be even more dangerous." Lupin sighed, agreeing with Sirius.

Elwia looked at everyone, irritated. Why was everyone talking as if she was not present?

"I fear that he is after us; he is suspecting." Dumbledore admitted with a nod of his head.

"You do fear an awful lot, huh? Can someone actually tell me this bloody secret that everyone has been keeping from me?" Elwia raised her voice to the point where she was almost shouting.

Elwia's mother looked at her with a panicked face. Elwia took notice of the fact that her mother was tearing her nails; she never did that.

"Voldemort is after you, because he is suspecting something that we had tried hard to conceal from him. I fear that you might have to start your Christmas break early, Voldemort might have spies here and we need to find out who they are" Dumbledore explained, although that actually explained nothing to Elwia.

"And why exactly is he after me? As far as I know, I'm just a normal girl. How would I be of any use to him?" Elwia asked, irritated.

"When is your birthday?" Dumbledore asked with a gentle tone.

Elwia's eye was twitching. It was a miracle she hadn't popped a blood vessel out of anger yet.

"July 30th." Elwia seethed under her breath.

Dumbledore nodded and paced slowly around the room. Even Apolline, Sirius, and Lupin looked confused about what was happening. Snape just looked uninterested.

"Neville was also born on the 30th of July." Dumbledore smiled.

"Okay?" Elwia said, unsure of why this was important.

"No offence, Dumbledore. Can you just get on with it?" Apolline said while trying to sound as kind as possible. Elwia could tell that she was on her last nerve.

"Exactly what Apolline said." Sirius rolled his eyes.

"Voldemort is after you because you are a threat. In fact, you and your brother are both threats to him." Dumbledore began saying.

"My brother?" Elwia repeated, flabbergasted.

"Yes, your brother. Until now, Voldemort wasn't 100 percent aware of your existence. He has now found out about you, or he's at least suspecting." Dumbledore continued.

"Who is my brother?" Elwia asked, annoyed that Dumbledore was dropping a bomb like that in the conversation and then continuing to act like it was nothing.

Sirius and Remus both looked at each other knowingly; Apolline looked like she was about to faint, and Snape looked like he wanted the conversation to end as soon as possible.

Was Neville Elwia's twin brother, since Dumbledore mentioned them having the same birthday? Well, they both had dark hair and green eyes. Their personalities were very far from each other, though.

"Do you want to know who your real parents are?" Dumbledore asked, raising an eyebrow, which made Apolline let out a small gasp and grab Elwia's hand in hers.

"Yeah, Apolline is my mother and Marco was my father?" Elwia frowned her brows, not even truly believing her own words.

"Your parents are..."
