Kai SatskiThe bus came to a rough halt at a stop near an apartment building, the older man hadn't walked off the bus yet.
"Is this your stop?" I asked, my tone softer than I intended. Feliciana nodded. I dont know why my stomach felt all fluttery and my heart was pounding in my head. I extended my hand for her to take as I noticed the old man still watching. I felt her warm tanned fingers meet mine in a soft embrace. As I held her hand I got up, I noticed the man watching us closely. I had to pretend to be her boyfriend, like I had said. I opened the navy umbrella I had and held it over the two of us as her feet left the bus and kissed the wet pavement of dark gray stone.I looked up at the building. "Chic Inn" was in gold cursive amongst the posh and classical building with intricate lining around window frames and large white pillars at the automatic doors. It was heaven compared to where I lived.
"So, this is your crib?" I asked, again, my tone lacking it's usual sharpness. Feliciana swatted my hand away and yanked my hood off.
"I knew it was you."

My fluffy black hair sat in it's usual mix of a wolfcut and mullet, I cut it myself. My sharp eyes of ocean glistened with a gleam of shock and nerve.
"Not so cocky now, huh?" She teased. I could see her better now and god she was mythical...
