Third person POV

Sam gradually took small steps towards Jori, and as if instinctually, the prince started to back away from the knight.

"When the knight got closer, he leaned in, his lips near the prince's ear."

The proximity is too close for the prince's liking but he's just too startled to speak.

"If the ogling part is done, we should get to the real stuff now, okay?" The knight spoke in a low tone in the prince's ears, making the prince feel tingles all over his body.

The usually brazen Jori just got too speechless by the knight's bold act. Was he always this way? Or has this world changed him? Either way, he couldn't form any words at that moment and just nodded in response.

"Good now that we're on the same page, let's get started," Sam says with a smirk on his face and walks away to create distance.

Now he's creating distance? Thinks Jori but doesn't comment on it.

"So what should I do right now? My oh-so-responsible knight" The prince tries to be bold again. He always has this urge to not back down when with the taller male. It's as if he wants to show him that he isn't one to be flustered by him.

"Pick this up first, I need to check something" Sam signals towards the sword in his hands. It seems he didn't bother to respond to the knight comment the shorter male made. He seems used to words like these. Well, he must be since they did bicker every day and every moment in Raindale.

"This sword? It seems heavy.. I bet the fencing swords are lighter" Jori comments scrunching his forehead as if trying to weigh it in his mind.

'Even so, try holding it,' Sam insisted. Jori reluctantly walked over to grab the sword from his hands."

"Roger that, captain," Jori chuckled and took the sword. Surprisingly, the weight didn't feel much to him.

"Captain?" The knight commented raising his eyebrow and questioning the title.

"Aren't you THE captain Sir Samuel now? What's wrong with me calling you that" Jori smirked. He knows he's calling him that to piss the knight off. The knight seems to realize that though.

"Right call me that I don't mind. It shows you paying me respect" Sam retorts.

The prince just rolls his eyes in response.

"About this sword... It's not as heavy as I thought. I can even try to strike with it" The prince averts the previous topic and returns to business.

" Knew it! Now try to strike the dummy" Sam instructs the prince while walking towards the dummy. The prince follows suit. Just as the prince took the stance the knight went on to say,

"And don't try to do it in a movie style, do it in the way you feel your body naturally moving" He comments as if he just knew what the shorter male was planning.

" How do you know I was gonna try the movie style??!" Jori was amused by his intentions being busted. How did he know anyway?

" I just do" Sam gave his signature smirk.

'You're impossible!' Jori exclaimed, throwing his hands up in exasperation."

"Nah I can make anything possible. Now strike!" Sam instructs.

Jori stands in front of the dummy and takes position. His body seemed to move on its own, instinctively knowing the stance and grip.

He takes a deep breath to ensure his focus is locked in.
