I hope this letter finds you well. If you are wondering why I am writing to you, it is because my husband's health has deteriorated. He cannot sit up any longer, much less speak without coughing up blood. We both know he does not have much time left, so he wanted me to pass on a message.

In the Swordsmith Village, there is a battle doll designed after your ancestor, Yoriichi Tsugikuni. Kagaya wants you to head to the village in hopes that you are able to use Sun Breathing just as Kamado does. It is said that there is a secret weapon that lies with the doll. Perhaps you or Muichiro are able to wield it.

Additionally, Kagaya has also asked you to find the Swordsmith Village Chief, Tecchin. He has left an important item with the chief and wanted you and Muichiro to have it.

When you return from the Swordsmith Village, will you visit our manor once more with Muichiro? My husband misses both of your presences' and would like to have a talk with you both over tea.

You and Muichiro stood outside your manor, waiting for the kakushi to arrive and bring you to the Swordsmith Village.

"Mui, do you want to visit Master Kagaya with me after this?" You asked. "It has been some time since we saw him. He's been asking for us."

"Really?" Muichiro asked, looking over at you.

"Mhm," You hummed.

"Okay, I'll go."

Just as he said that, two of the kakushi appeared. One was a male and the other was a female.

"Good morning, Frost and Mist Hashira," They greeted you.

"Good morning," You greeted back.

"We have been instructed by Master Kagaya to bring you to the Swordsmith Village," The female kakushi said. "Afterwards, the other kakushis will continue the path."

"Are you both not leading us immediately to the Swordsmith Village?" Muichiro asked them with a look.

"U-Uh, no," The male kakushi answered. "We are only accompanying you for a part of the path before we pass you off to the other kakushis who know the other parts of the path."

"Why do you not know the entire path to the Swordsmith Village?"

"Because it is prohibited for them to know the whole path, Mui," You told him. "We could get infiltrated. This is not your first time going to the Swordsmith Village. We went there some time back, remember?"

"Really?" Mui asked innocently as he switched his moods and now looked at you with a frown. "I don't remember..."

"It's okay," You assured him. Then, both kakushi raised their hands out, revealing two blindfolds.

Muichiro stared at the blindfold before blankly staring at them. "What?"

"Uh... you need to wear the blindfold, Tokito-san."

"We cannot see our surroundings too, Mui." You chuckled at him. "If the kakushi cannot know the path, then we cannot either."

"Okay," He grumbled and took the blindfold, placing it over his eyes.
