Wow, it's been a minute since I've revisited this story. But I do remember how much I wanted to write a romance featuring Greek gods in modern times. The Greek myths produced so many complex characters, particularly the character of Hades, who I'd always pictured as a hopeless romantic rather than the tyrant he's usually portrayed to be. And I crossed my fingers that there were readers on Wattpad who felt the same.
I was blown away at how quickly the story took off once I started posting chapters, and I couldn't wait to read the comments that were left for me the night before. In the early days, when the story was titled Lexi's Undoing, it competed with Chasing Red for the #1 spot on the Romance Hot List. Later, the story was published into an audiobook by Hachette. Now, a new and improved version is being published in paperback and ebook through W by Wattpad Books. What a wild ride!
👉 Full disclosure, I never queried this story to agents. My low-key plan all along was to have it published by Wattpad once they jumped on the traditional publishing bandwagon. The power of positive thinking, ya'll! 👈
As you've already noticed by the cover, Lexi's Undoing has gone through a title change, which is not unusual when a story is picked up by a publisher. I'm super excited for you all to read the published version of this story. With the help of my awesome editors, we've made some really meaningful improvements, and you'll uncover some great new content.
A Goddess Unraveled will be released on May 13, 2025! 🎉 As far as the other two books are concerned, they are being published as well. The titles are still not set in stone, but the trilogy is called The Olympus Rising Series.
