𖹭 Hazel's POV 𖹭
I woke up as the sunlight stroke out of the curtains. I looked at the clock and it was 9:00 already. I was literally glued onto my bed. After struggling for a about forty minutes, I finally rolled out of my bed with a drooly face.
After completing my routine, I looked at the chaotic situation that my room was going through. I had to pack everything before the evening. I had already packed all my clothes. But I still had a ton of things to pack. I gave a call to Martha, the only friend I trust.
"Can you come here?" I asked her for help not knowing what to do with my room's situation.
"What did you do last night? You know that we have to shift everything before the evening!"
I knew I had no time but I was too lazy. Martha and I have nothing in common. She wants everything to be neat and organized but in contrast I'm too clumsy and lazy, pissing her off all the time.
"Sorry... Just help me with it if u want to. I don't think I'll complete packing all these before the evening all by myself.." I replied with a sad voice, hoping that she would help me.
"I'll be there in fifteen minutes."
"Thanks Pookie." I could hear her sigh on my cringy reply. She hung up with no response.

I heard the door bell ring. As I went to open the door, I saw my aunt and my cousin sitting at the couch. My aunt gave me no attention. I opened the door and Martha entered in, with a huge smile on her face.
"Ryan... Hi..." she started talking in her baby voice.
"Hey! Martha." Ryan responded.
After listening to their boring conversation for twenty minutes straight, I was too annoyed.
"We have things to work on... Just letting you know." I gave her a grumpy look, having no patience left.
"Ohh yeah.. I'll be right back."
We finally got into the room. We had 2 hours left and we had to pack my whole room. Martha dismantled the furniture and I packed everything else.

An hour or so later, Martha had already completed her work. But I was still there packing my room decors.
"Do you think that it's necessary to carry all these trash to the dorm?" Martha questioned with a disgusted face.
"These are not trash!! I want my room to look 'aesthetic'.."
I got everything packed in a few minutes. The only thing which was left was to get the porter truck to my house. Me and Martha were waiting with all the boxes in the parking.
"I'm finally free from this hell!" I exclaimed with joy.
"Are you sure that your uncle is okay with you moving out?" Martha asked with a concerned look.
"I don't know.. He was convinced only after a year of requesting. But I'm sure that my aunt doesn't want me to stay with them anymore.."
I was so sure that my aunt doesn't like me. She thought I was the one who didn't give my uncle and her any personal time. My uncle never thought so. My uncle at least cared for me, just for the sake of being my mom's brother.
"The truck is here!" Martha exclaimed.
We got everything into the truck, neat and organized. I drove my car to the dorm, following the truck.

I saw Joshua waiting for us outside the dorm. Joshua was the heart-throb of our school. He had a group of girls stalking him everywhere he went. But Me and Martha were closer to him.
"I'll help you." Joshua said as he took the boxes from Martha's hand.
"Thanks.."
After about half-an-hour, we had shifted everything into the room. Martha had her stuffs arranged already as she moved in before a week. I partially got everything into their place when I heard a loud noise from the kitchen.
"Max!! Give it back!" Martha yelled at Maximus.
Maximus was the most friendly puppy I've ever seen, a golden retriever of course.
"Will you ever stop yelling at him?" Joshua asked.
"I'm not yelling at him!! I'm just trying to make him understand!!"
"Look, now you're yelling at me.."
"Okay.. You're not." he said, as he saw Martha staring through his soul.

It was 7:00 in the evening. Joshua had already left. Martha was in her room working on a project that she had to submit to Mr. Park. I was just scrolling through instagram.
"Wait-Wait!"
"Martha! Did you check Lauryn's post?!" I asked Martha, crashing into her room.
"No... But bro calm down..." she replied with a confused look.
"Here!" I said ,giving her my phone.
"Mike? Again?"
"Yeah! It's not even two months after the broke up, they got together.."
"She'll never realize how toxic Mike is." she told with a concerned look
"True.. We must try talking about this with her..."

I was in my room texting Laurie. I had no business about her relationship with Mike but as her best friends, Martha and I were too concerned. Even after getting cheated so many times, she wanted him back. We knew what she had gone through because of their relationship and didn't want her to suffer again.
