His silhouette danced on the outskirts of the club. I could feel his eyes burning holes into my back. I found it hard to pay attention or focus on what Daesung was saying. He carried on about who knows what I didn't care. All that was on my mind was how to get away from Daesung, and make my way to him.

~the previous day~

"Wakey wakey!!" I hear my boyfriend of two years, Daesung, greet me as I open my eyes. We kiss like every morning. Life is just so.....predictable with Daesung. "Should we eat breakfast now? Guess what I made!?" He beams.

"Pancakes again?" I say dryly not even trying to look enthusiastic. Daesung's face immediacy grows sad and I feel a pang of guilt rush over me. He nods and walks out of the room. I follow him to the kitchen where he throws out the pancakes. "Babe what are you doing?" I ask.

"Maybe we should go out for breakfast...go get ready.." I nod and go back to our room. Crap, I thought, I hurt his feelings. Dammit I better apologize later. I washed my face and threw on my favorite blue jacket over my white cami I was already wearing and pulled on some jeans. As I put a bit of makeup on and tied my hair back into a ponytail, I heard Daesung calling my name. "Megan you ready?" I came downstairs. He seemed much happier than before. We got into the car and headed out. "Where should we go?" He asked me.

"Let's go to Panera. I've heard they have great breakfast and we might see Gabby."

"Gabby? Why would she be there?"

"Her dad bought the company after they moved back from Mexico, back in highschool." Ah memories. But that's another story~

We drove the rest of the way in silence. It's been like that recently. Always the same with Daesung, and I have to admit. It's starting to get boring, everything is so bland, over and over again. Even sex is unexciting now a days. Daesung pulled the car up to the Panera parking lot. We walk in and are immediately greeted by my best friend Gabby.

"Megan!! Daesung!!!" She walks over to us smiling. "I don't think I've ever seen you guys up this early!!" She jokes. I check my watch. 10:26. I haven't looked at the time all morning. "We wanted a little change so we decided to eat here today!" Daesung responded. Gabby smiled and the two started talking as I began to zone out, lost in my own thoughts. I followed behind them like a zombie as Gabby lead us to our table. "Megan?" I snapped back to life as Gabby called me out.

"Sorry. Spaced out a bit."

"You're still the same old ditz huh." Gabby scoffed.

"Oh by the way Gabby," Daesung asked. "Why are you hear working? Don't you have a job as a novelist already? I know your dad owns the place and all..."

Gabby moves her gaze to a curly haired boy waiting on another table. "Well, I like to...help out. And it's a good place to work on my novel from time to tim-"

"SURE!" I scoff. "I saw that sideways glance at that guy over there!" I giggle as Gabby starts to blush and stutter.

"Sh-Shut up!! It's not like that..." She grins shyly, biting her lip. Just then, "GABBY!!" A male voice calls out. "¿MANDE?*" a blonde boy just barely taller than Gabby walks out of the kitchen and asks Gabby about one of the orders. After she explains and he still doesn't understand, she gets frustrated. "Ok guys ill be right back. I have to help Niall out!"

"That's ok you don't have to wait on us. There's other waiters."Daesung says.

"Ahahaha but we're friends! I want to do this. Plus who knows what things you'd say if you got Harry as a waiter." She says nodding toward the curly haired boy. Gabby then walks away with Niall leaving Daesung and I alone. Again.

*mande is like the politer way of saying "what" when someone addresses you in Mexican culture
