Daesung tried to make small talk with me but, I just couldn't get into it. We used to communicate so naturally, so freely, but now it's become forced and awkward. Gabby came back to the table. "Ok sorry about that Niall's one of the new chefs here. He keeps eating a lot of the food but man, is he gorgeous..." She mutters. I laugh. "Oh God Gabby, do you hang out here all day just to be around the guys you fancy? Just ask one of them out!" She blushes and shakes her head. "Whatever. So what do ya guys want?" Daesung orders some meat lovers meal special breakfast with potatoes or something and I order a small fruit plate. I try to take as long as possible to order, dreading the fact that Daesung and I will be left alone together. But knowing Gabby, she's quick to move and soon is off again.

"So Megan," Daesung starts. "I have to go to work after this..."

"Oh that's ok!" I brighten up. "I can just stay here and hang out with Gabby. She can give me a ride home!" I smile. Yes! I thought. This is my chance to ask Gabby for advice on what I've been feeling lately. Daesung smiled. A few minutes of awkward silence passed as Gabby ran over. She was out of breath. "I didn't want to give you guys the gross house blend coffee. So I ran to Starbucks and got some instead!!" She beamed so obviously proud of herself. Daesung and I smiled at her. "Thanks! Oh Gabby is it ok if I stay here a while? We need to catch up!" I use this opportunity hoping she'll catch on. She does immediately. "I'm sorry I didn't realize sooner!" She mused. "You can stay as long as you want! Maybe you can even lend a hand on the new novel." She shot me a sorry glance as she had to walk away to wait on another table. Daesung cleared his throat. As he was about to say something he was interrupted by the sound of the chime at the door. A tall man walked in. I couldn't help but stare as he strode in. His raven black hair was styled in a sleek and sexy way, his tall frame was made up of a seemingly sexy body and his eyes bore holes in me as he glanced in my direction. He was a God. The waiter, Harry lead the beautiful creation to a booth near the table Daesung and I sat at. He sat on the side facing me and looked deep into my eyes. My heart raced faster than it has in god knows how long. And he let out a smirk before turning to his menu.

"Put your tongue back in." Gabby whispers out of nowhere. I jump. She sets my plate down and continues a conversation about some pointless topic, with Daesung before shooting me a warning glare and heading off.

We ate our food in silence. I could tell we were being watched. Each minute felt like an eternity but finally, we finished. Daesung got up briefly kissed my cheek and went to pay. Good. Now I don't have to worry about him.

After Daesung left, Gabby sat down and began to interrogate me. "What's up with you and Daesung.? Why do you seem so distant?" She drilled question after question. I told her everything, about not having that spark with Daeusung anymore, things getting awkward etc. She let out a sigh. "It seems like you're unhappy in this relationship. Maybe you just need some space. Try dating new people." I nodded. "I know but, I've been with Daesung for two years and. I don't want to throw it all away. Maybe there's some way to work it out? I don't know." As Gabby opened her mouth to speak, I felt the same burning sensation and upon looking up, I met eyes with the godly creature from before. His stare was so intense I found myself starting to blush slightly. "Megan??" The sound of Gabby's voice snapped me back to life. She looked at me with concern. "Are you okay? You've been spacing out a lot more than usual...."

"I'm fine. It's just. " Gabby's eyes followed mine and she saw what's been distracting me. "Oh." She smirked. "So your into that kind." She started to laugh then got up to help The other waiter Harry with a table he was having a little trouble on. I watched their awkward interactions as Gabby tried her best to guide Harry and not get frustrated. She always had a quick temper. As I gazed at their fond actions I didn't realize that the beautiful man I'd been watching slipped into the seat across from me. I turned my gaze away from Gabby and gasped in shock. He smiled at me, making me flustered. My heart started to race, as he opened his mouth to speak.

"Hello gorgeous, I'm Top."
