"What do you mean that you're breaking up with me?" Miara asks with confusion and shock laced under her voice. "You heard me, we're done." He says. Final is final.
Miara grabs his hand with both of hers. "Did i do something? Why so sudden?" She says, her voice squeaking, as if she's about to let her tears flow. "Miara, i told you. I found someone else." He says and snatches his arm from her grip, making the poor girl stumble in her feet. "And stop calling me. I've already blocked you." He says and leaves the gas station store.
Miara just can't believe it. How can he just break up with her right in the middle of the shift.
What has she done to be treated like this?
"Uhm, i'd like to pay now." A female voice says."Wha-oh, yes! My apologies." She says and hurries to the checkout. She uses one hand to put a strand of her strawberry blonde hair behind her ears and puts on a strawberry pin to hold the strand hair put. She starts scanning the items.
A bowl of spicy ramen, soda, a small pack of candy.
"Is that all?" Miara asks, looking at the woman standing in front of her.
Victoria Vox, aka as Vicky, Vox.
Staring closer at her, she really is pretty, miara thinks to herself. Vicky points, "I want one of those pink cigarette packs." Miara turns, her eyes following her finger pointing st the shelf filled with cigarettes. "Oh! Strawberry shortcake!" She says and grabs one of the pink packets, scanning it and placing it on the small pile of junk food.
"That will be fifty-four dollars and ten cents, please.""Must have been your boyfriend." Vicky comments nonchalantly. This caught mimi off guard as Vicky is a total stranger to us
"Pardon?" She asks confused. "The dude. He dumped you?" She asks, grabbing the stuff. "Oh...i guess." She says solemn. "Why? You're really cute." Vicky mutters, taking out her flip phone as she has just gotten a message. Flustered, mimi waves around her hand. "Oh-i-thank you! Uh..?" Mimi stops, looking at Vicky. Vicky notices and puts her phone back in her jean-pocket. "It's vicky. Victoria."
"Oh, yes, victoria. Pretty name...though, it doesn't really...fit my look?" Vicky finishes her sentence.
Mimi observes her, scanning her clothes.
A black and wine red striped lace tank top, and dark washed out flare jeans with boots.
"Victoria would suit you more, miara." Vicky says, smirking at the shocked girl.
"H-how to you know my name?" She asks in a worried and impressed tone. What if she's some lind of psychic?
"Your name tag." Vicky says and leaves the checkout to make herself comfortable in the back of the store where tables are to eat at. Not only that but also other things to prepare her food."Right...name tag." Miara looks down at her brown apron, where the tag is attached to.
There is no one else beside Vicky and mimi in the store.
Mimi bends down her body, resting her arms on the upper.
"Oh gosh..." mimi huffs out.
She's just gotten broken up with, she's tired and she still got two hours left before her shift ends."Mind if i sit here with you?"
"I guess."🩰🚬
