Bosco stirred, her eyes blinking open as she took in the quiet room, the sound of the rain still tapping against the windows. She sat up a little straighter, her eyes searching his. "What time is it?" she asked, her voice sleepy.

Daya checked his phone, the screen illuminating his features briefly. "It's almost ten," he murmured, his voice still a little rough from earlier. "Good nap?"

Bosco stretched, her eyes flickering open. "Yeah," she said, her voice still a bit groggy. "You're the comfiest thing to sleep on ever." She smiled.

Daya chuckled, his own eyes feeling a bit heavy. "Glad to be of service," he said, his voice a gentle rumble. He paused for a moment, stroking her back. "You know, I got a text from Nicky while you were out," he said, his voice a little more serious.

Bosco's eyes snapped open, her gaze searching his. "Is everything okay?" she asked, the sleepiness dissipating quickly.

Daya nodded, his thumb tracing circles on her arm. "Yeah," he said, his voice a little too casual. "Nicky said the shop's closed tomorrow." He paused, his eyes searching hers. "So we have a day off together, and the kids will be at school."

Bosco's eyes lit up with excitement. "Really?" she whispered, a smile playing on her lips. "You should come over to my place, since you've never seen it."

Daya nodded, his heart racing a little. "Yeah, I'd like that," he said, his voice a bit too eager.

He stood up, his muscles protesting the sudden movement after being still for so long. He stretched, his back cracking as he tried to work out the kinks. "Alright, I better go get Irene," he said, his voice a little more business-like. "Can't have Tyler thinking he can pull a fast one on me."

Bosco's laughter filled the room, a sweet sound that made his heart skip a beat. "Good idea," she said, her voice light and teasing. "Go get em Daddy Daya,"

With a chuckle, he stepped away from her and made his way down the hallway, the floorboards groaning slightly with each step. He paused outside Tyler's door, taking a moment to gather his thoughts. He raised his hand and knocked gently, the wood echoing through the silence. "Yeah?" Tyler's voice was muffled but clear.

Daya pushed the door open, the light from the hallway spilling into the darkened room. Tyler sat up in bed, his eyes wide with surprise. "Oh, hey," he said, a hint of nervousness in his voice.

Daya stepped inside, his eyes immediately going to the figure curled up beside Tyler. Irene looked up at him, her cheeks flaming red. She was tucked into Tyler's chest, her arms wrapped around his waist, and she looked up at Daya with wide, innocent eyes. "Hi," she murmured, her voice barely audible.

Daya couldn't help the smile that tugged at his lips. "Hey," he said, his voice gentle. "It's time for Irene to head home, buddy," he said, his eyes on Tyler.

Tyler nodded, his own smile a little sheepish. "Okay," he murmured, his eyes flicking to Irene. She sat up, her eyes still a bit sleepy.

"I had a really nice time," she said shyly, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Me too," Tyler said, his own voice a little shaky. He helped her out of the bed, his hands lingering on her arms for a moment longer than necessary.

Daya cleared his throat gently. "I'll drive you home, Irene," he said, his voice still warm. "It's no problem."

Irene's eyes widened with relief, and she nodded. "Thank you," she murmured, her voice a soft whisper.

Daya nodded, his smile gentle. "Of course," he said, his eyes flicking to Tyler's. "Why don't you come in the car too buddy? Boscos here for Molly anyway."
