Note-the events of the book happen around the time after Sun got tortured by the creator, only a few days after
Tw- cursing as well as mentions of physical and sexual abuse.
Star's POV- I sat on the edge of one of the long desks in the creator's lab. He had left a while ago to find a new lab, leaving me and Aster to fend for ourselves though some of his 'business partners' came by every now and then to have their 'fun' with me. I was humming to myself when I heard the doors open and I quickly darted to a hiding spot, I didn't know where Aster was but he must be watching. I peaked out and watched as a Sun looking animatronic and a Moon looking animatronic that went to the computers and started to look through them. I watch curiously
"Why did we come here again?" The sun one asked
"The creator had to have left something we can use on these computers" the Moon one grumbles as he looks through the computer. I tilt my head and my tail twitches and knocks something down, alerting both of them.
"What was that?" The Moon one growled and kept Sun behind him "come out" the Moon one shouted. I sigh and step out, my rays twitching from nervousness as I tug on my way to long sleeves.
"H-hello" I stutter out and the Sun one gasped
"Oh hello little one!" The Sun one chirped and came forward.
"Sun be careful" the Moon one growled "you don't know what the creator could have made it for" I wince at being called an it
"Oh come on Moon!" The one that must be Sun whined to the one that must be named Moon. Sun the turned to me "I'm Sun and thats Moon, can you tell us your name?" He asked softly.
"I'm Star" I say softly, my tail flicks and my three rays twitch as I look up at them both. Sun smiled softly
Moon's POV-"Well Star, could you answer some questions?" I asked roughly and she nods, I smiled "ok, first question, why were you created?" I asked as I looked down at her, she was only a little smaller then Lunar.
"I was made to channel Star power" she responded slowly "but I was a failed project....mr and my brother are only kept around for the creator to take his anger out on something" she mumbled. This made me a little sad but then I realized she had said her and her brother.
"Brother?" I asked curiously and she noded
"Yeah his name is Aster, he's my twin, he's somewhere around here-" she got cut off by another animatronic dropping from the ceiling it had an interesting design and a tail that had four claw machine like claws on the tail, it looked like it could use the tail as a third hand and looked very similar to Star.
Aster's POV- I brush myself off a little and look up at Sun and Moon, they were taller then I expected "hello, I'm Aster" I growl, my tail grabing Star's arm and pulling her close "I was built to protect Star though it is hard when I am locked up when bad things happen to her" I grumble and Moon nods slowly.
"So are you guys technically like, our little siblings?" Sun asked and I noded the Moon budded in
"What do you mean bad things?" He asked, his voice was softer now and I sighed, pulling Star closer to me in a protective way.
"The creator hurt her a lot and some of his 'business partner' have done some very sexual things to her" I growl and fell Star putting her head on my shoulder, Sun gasped and Moon growled.
"Moon can we take them home with us, I don't think we should leve them in that kind of danger" Sun said and Moon nodded.
"Would you two be ok with that?" He asked us and we both noded so be and Sun lead us out of the creator's lab.
