TW: THIS STORY CONTAINS SELF HARM
Izuku knocked quietly on Katsuki's dorm door, a small box wrapped in black lace ribbon in one hand and his keys in the other. The soft tapping on the door interrupted Katsuki's deep concentration as he edited photos. His heart raced a little faster as he recognized the rhythm—it was Izuku. He saved his work, placed his camera aside, and stood up from his chair, stretching his lean frame. Walking over to the door, his pulse quickened with anticipation.
As Katsuki reached for the knob and opened the door, he was met with the sight of Izuku standing there, a small, beautifully wrapped box in his hand. Izuku's eyes sparkled with excitement, and Katsuki couldn't help but feel a warmth spreading throughout his chest. He raised an eyebrow, trying to hide the smile that threatened to break through his usually stern exterior.
"What's that?" Katsuki asked, his voice a little rougher than he intended. His mind raced, curiosity bubbling up as he wondered what could possibly be inside the box. *Please let it be a new camera lens...or maybe tickets to a concert?* Katsuki thought, a dreamy expression briefly flickering across his features.
Izuku stepped closer to Katsuki, his warm breath brushing Katsuki's cheek as he wrapped his arms around his neck, holding him in a tender embrace. Katsuki stiffened initially, surprised by the sudden intimacy, but then relaxed, allowing himself to lean into Izuku's touch. His hands hesitated for a moment before settling on Izuku's waist, pulling him closer. Katsuki closed his eyes, savoring the feeling of Izuku's body pressed against his own.
The gesture was simple, yet it conveyed a depth of affection that stirred something within Katsuki. He felt himself blushing, a rare occurrence for someone like him. Why does he have to be so sweet? Katsuki thought, struggling to maintain his usual bold demeanor. He swallowed hard, trying to find his voice.
"Thanks...for coming over," Katsuki muttered, his voice low and husky. His fingers traced idle patterns on the small of Izuku's back as he waited for him to reveal the contents of the mysterious box. The anticipation was almost too much to bear, but Katsuki knew better than to ruin the moment by rushing him. Instead, he focused on the steady beat of Izuku's heart against his chest, allowing Izuku's presence to soothe his nerves and fill him with a sense of peace he hadn't felt in a long time.
Izuku smiled warmly, his emerald eyes twinkling as he looked up at Katsuki. "Happy birthday, Katsuki," he whispered, pressing the small box into Katsuki's hand. Katsuki's heart skipped a beat as he realized today was indeed his birthday—he had been so consumed by his photography projects that he had almost forgotten. Izuku knew how much Katsuki hated being the center of attention, yet he still went out of his way to make him feel special.
Katsuki blinked back tears, feeling incredibly touched by Izuku's thoughtfulness. "Thanks, Izuku," he said, his voice barely audible. Carefully, Katsuki unwrapped the black lace ribbon, revealing a sleek, state-of-the-art camera lens. His jaw dropped in disbelief—it was exactly what he needed for his next project.
"How did you...?" Katsuki began, but Izuku simply shrugged, his cheeks flushing pink. "I know how much photography means to you," Izuku replied sincerely. "I wanted to support you in any way I could."
A surge of gratitude washed over Katsuki, mixed with an intense desire to show Izuku just how much his gift meant to him. He pulled Izuku closer, pressing a soft kiss to his lips before unwrapping the lens completely and attaching it to his camera. Katsuki's fingers trembled slightly as he held it up, testing its weight and focus. It was perfect.
"Wanna help me try it out?" Katsuki asked, his tone playful. He knew Izuku loved being his model almost as much as he loved taking his picture.
Izuku's suggestive smile sent a jolt of excitement through Katsuki. As Izuku's hand trailed down Katsuki's arm, he gently took the camera from his grasp. "Anything for you, Kacchan," he purred, his voice low and seductive. Katsuki's breath hitched, a thrill of arousal surging through him at Izuku's words. The way Izuku looked at him—like he was the only person in the world that mattered—was utterly intoxicating. Katsuki bit his bottom lip, trying to maintain his composure. He was usually the one in control, the one calling the shots, but there was something irresistible about Izuku's assertiveness tonight.
