D' Hunters

Chapter 1

"Attention, Alpha team!" I speak through my earpiece, calling the attention of my team.

"Yes, Kap?" They all answered.

"Prepare yourselves and get on your positions! The traget will step out any minute from now." I commanded.

"Aye aye, Kap!"

There's a moment of silence and the only thing I can hear is their slow breathing from the earpiece.

I scan the area through my night vision telescope, looking for any movements of our enemies.

Nasa labas kami ng isang kweba at inaabangan ang paglabas ng mga halimaw na target namin ngayong gabi.

Killing monsters is not new to us. We've been trained for this ever since we were kids. We're trained to hunt those beasts who cause trouble and prey on innocent and defenseless humans.

I am their captain, their leader. Fyr is my right hand and there are three more members in our team. Xierra, our team healer, Kaiah is our strategist and Forrest is an archer.

Nasa harap si Fyr since sya ang naka-assign as our first line of offense. He has the ability to control the element of fire where he was named after. He's holding a sword in his hand and later if kaharap na namin ang mga kalaban, that sword will be in flames.

Nasa magkabilang gilid sina Xierra at Kaiah as they'll take on our enemies on the side. Kaiah has the ability to manipulate the element of water. She use it to drown our enemies. While Xierra has two five inches long needle in her hands. Even though her weapons is small and short, it is covered with a snake's venom that makes it more deadly and lethal as any weapons. Just a slight nick of those needles on your body and that poison will kill you in less than a minute.

At the back, three steps behind me was Forrest. He's an Acher so he will take on our blind spots and long range battles. Sharp shooter si Forrest kaya malaki ang tiwala ko sa kanyang hindi nya hahayaang may makalusot na kalaban behind our backs. Also, he can control the trees and vines around us. He has the ability to manipulate the element of earth.

While I am on the center. Not because I have no ability and strenght to fight but because I am their shield. I formed an invisible and impenetrable barrier around us. This will serve as our safe spot and protect us if everything comes to worst.

Aside from shield, I also have the ability to control lightning. But I obly use it when necessary.

Maya maya ay bigla kaming nakarinig ng malalakas na mga pag-alulong ng kung anong nilalang na nasa loob ng kweba. Mukhang madami sila.

"It seems like mada-dami tayong kakalabanin ngayon, Kap." Xierra said what I was about to say. Naunahan lang nya ako.

I just hummed as a response while scanning our surrounding.

"Mukhang mapapalaban tayo ngayong gabi." Kaiah commented while readying her trident that is made of water.

"Even if there's hundreds of them, I will just burn them all." Matapang na sabi ni Fyr habang pinapaikot pa sa kamay ang espadang hawak nya.

I just shook my head and sighed.

"Just be careful, everyone. I don't want anyone of you get hurt. Understand?" I said firmly.

"Yes, Kap!" Sagot nila at tumahimik na ulit.

Lahat kami ay nakikinig at pinakikiramdaman ang paligid. When we felt the ground shake a little.

"They're coming." Forrest said as he puts an arrow on his bow, preparing to to shoot anything that will come out of the cave.

Naghanda na kaming lahat. Patuloy na gumagalaw ang lupa indikasyon na papalapit na ang mga kalabang kanina pa namin inaabangang lumabas.
