Avantika was running here and there in the room getting ready and Samrat was sitting on the bed glaring at her.

Today it was Reyansh & Nainika's haldi and mehendi and there was alot of work so she got up really early this morning.

But in her hurry she woke up Samrat who slept just 3 hrs before due to his work.

Right now she was standing infront of the mirror arranging her bangles .

Avantika : Mujhe Ese kya dekh rhe hai. (Why are you looking at me like this)

She said looking at him through the mirror who was looking at her with his sleepy grey eyes. His hairs ruffled and one hand on back of his neck.

Samrat : Dekh rha hun meri nind ki terahvin karke kitni khushi se taiyaar ho rahi hain aap.
(Looking at how happy are you after ruining my sleep)

She made a face then turned towards the window and closed the curtains.

She came towards him sitting beside him she took his head on her lap.

Then patting his head she started singing -

'Lalla lalla Lori dudh ki katori,
Katori mein batasha,
Mere Sasur ka beta kare tamasha'.

He immediately jerked her hands and got up.

Samrat : Pagal aurat !
(Mad Woman)

Avantika : Hm... Tabhi toh tumse shaadi karli.

She said as she rolled her eyes knowing very well that he hated this.

After glaring at her for few seconds he covered himself with a blanket and turned other side.

IN LIVING ROOM -----

Dadi, Rudrani and Kaamini were sitting on the sofa.

Kaamini : Badi Bahurani is not visible anywhere even when it is 7:00 pm and Maa said to gather at 6:00 pm.

Before Dadi could say anything Mayuri came with tea and some snacks.

Rudrani : See Maa this is class and standard of a Rathore Bahu she is always at time and even so thoughtful.

She said looking at the tea and snacks when Avantika came adjusting her saree.

Rudrani : Maa that's why I said you the girl who cannot manage to wake up early how can she manage the entire family.

Dadi : Really Rudrani I am shocked to hear these words are coming from the person who herself never managed anything other than managing her manicure and pedicure schedules.

Dadi said as Kaamini silently laughed. Just then Dadi turned towards Kaamini.

Dadi : And you Kaamini, you are giving lectures to Avantika and Mayuri whereas your Bahu itself is not here. Oh I remember she might be tired of not doing anything yesterday right.

This was Rudrani's turn to laugh as she muffled her laughs.

Everyone had different expressions right now but the one who was enjoying the most was Avantika with a smirk on her face.

Finally done with the drama she said trying to cool the awkwardness.

Avantika : Dadi lets perform the Puja then have the tea.

Kaamini : Yaa that also our Mayuri might have prepared right.

Mayuri : No Buaji everything had been done by Bhabhi she cleaned and decorated the Puja room then cooked the Prasad for Puja and snacks and tea for you all.
