"Do you understand the seriousness of this matter Mr. Schinder? This could affect not only the profits but the image of this company. So all this work that my father did, you want it to go to waste!" I shouted at the top of my voice. The pin drop silence after that made every board member hold their breaths.

"If I found a single charge of corruption being done under my nose in this plant or any of our plants across the world, I won't hesitate to fire you and hand you over to the authorities." I said to the Plant manager before he apologized a few times and left in a hurry.

"What else is on the agenda?" I quickly asked my assistant.

"Mr. Wood wanted to add something, would you like to proceed?"

"I was just wondering, ever since you took over 6 months back, have you visited our plants in the Middle East? I would suggest you plan a visit soon. We have a lot of potential to expand the plant there and even start the work for refineries. We will get the permit by the end of next month. And this could even get over quickly if you meet up with the senator there."

"Sounds good. I was planning but now that this is the case then I'll set up a trip. Felicia, get the details about this and get it approved from Mr. Wood. If anyone would like to accompany me from the board, you're more than welcome." Everyone nodded.

"Good to see you all again. Thankyou for all your support and please feel free to help me do my job better. I'm still new and would really appreciate your assistance." Everyone laughed and smiled as they got up.

"Mam you have a 2'o clock waiting for you in your cabin." And it was 2:05 now. I headed straight to my cabin and saw another one of our clients.

The meeting went on till 3:30. The moment they left, Felicia entered the room. "You are expected to visit the foundation by 5 pm. I have a designer here for you so you can pick your dress and get ready for the same."

"Felicia I'm hungry, can I eat something?" I asked her.

"You can eat in the car. The foundation is an hour away from here." She said and I nodded.

I quickly picked a nice pink dress that reached upto my knees and the girls quickly did my hair and makeup. I rushed to my car and Felicia brought me my lunch as ordered. It was McDonald's Big Mac. I chewed on it as my life would end if it didn't go into my system.

The view must be so unpleasant. A nicely dressed multi billionaire CEO hogging a hamburger. You can change the lifestyle but you can never change your habits. In the past 6 months I've been to home and office and some local galas and events. This has been so hectic. Now I even have to plan international trips. A girl of 22 can never do all this. But this is what I was made for. Heck I wanted to do this when I was 16. Who knows this is the cost of that. But I like it, if I look at the big picture. Sometimes.

Felicia was always by my side. She was in her mid 40s and has been working with my father for a long time. She has been my constant support. Infront of everyone she would be my assistant but when we're just us, she would become my mother. She still kicks me up in the morning so I reach the office on time. She had a huge respect for my dad and watched me grow up. I never crossed her decisions. Similarly Mr. Wood, from the board of directors, he was a very good friend of my father. Off the records he helps me run the place. Helps me understand trade secrets and develop my dealing skills.

I got off the car as we made it to the foundation. Thanks to Felicia my lipstick looks perfect, despite me murdering that burger earlier. I saw all the reporters lining up. I waved my hand and the sweet lady, the handler of the foundation shook hands with me. She handed me a scissor and I cut the ribbon. Soon she showed me around.
