CHAPTER 10
└───❀*̥˚───❀*̥˚┘

Away from the glitz and glamour of the main party, Vaidehi found herself a quiet corner where she could enjoy. The hum of distant conversations and the faint sound of clinking glasses provided a soothing background melody as she sipped her champagne.

In the soft glow of the dimly light bar, Vaidehi looked like a vision in her muted lavender gown. The luxurious fabric clung to her curves, showing her perfect figure with every movement she made.

VAIDEHI'S OUTFIT

Her soft curls were safely tied back with a diamond clip, with a few rebellious strands escaping to frame her face, giving her an ethereal glow.

She took a slow sip of her champagne, savoring the crisp. The night was perfect, or so she thought, until a familiar presence invaded her peaceful moment.

"Of course, I should've known I'd find you hiding here like a lazy cat," came a teasing voice that belonged to none other than Agastya.

AGASTYA'S OUTFIT

Vaidehi didn't even have to turn to know who it was. She rolled her eyes and sighed, already bracing herself for the mischief that was sure to follow. "Hiding? No, darling, I'm just avoiding unnecessary nuisances. But I guess my luck ran out since you're here."

Agastya smirked, completely unfazed by her sharp reply. He casually leaned against the bar, eyeing her with his usual blend of mischief and curiosity. Dressed in a sleek black suit, Agastya looked effortlessly stylish, as always. His unruly hair and those dark, intense eyes gave him an air of mystery that made people naturally attract toward him much to Vaidehi's annoyance.

"Come on, admit it. You were hoping I'd come find you. You know your night isn't complete without me annoying you at least once." He winked, flashing that roguish grin that never failed to rile her up.

Vaidehi took another sip, refusing to give him the satisfaction of a reaction. "In your dreams, Agastya. I was enjoying the peace and quiet before you barged in like a self obsessed Peacock looking for attention."
